Dr. Kain is a fixture in holistic healthcare. He used his background in manual therapy to create Bio-Integrative Therapy, which accelerates healing.
Dr. Kain is the chief executive officer and owner of Jay Kain Holistic HealthCare, located in the Berkshires of Western MA. He received his Ph.D. degree in Neuromusculoskeletal Function from Union Institute and University, an M.S. degree in Biomechanics from Springfield College, a B.S. degree in Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac College, and a B.S. degree in Physical Education from Springfield College.
Dr. Kain co-founded the Connecticut School of Integrative Manual Therapy and was dean for the developmental years of the program. He was a visiting senior therapist for multiple center sites, both nationally and internationally. He has lectured internationally on manual therapy for multiple organizations.
Currently Dr. Kain lectures nationally on various manual therapies and conducts clinical research on cutting edge approaches dealing with connective tissue and fascia. He also created the proprietary method of treatment called Bio-Integrative Therapy, a quantifiably proven manual therapy approach that accelerates healing.

Formerly established as a physical therapy practice in 1983, Dr. Kain has branched into holistic health care. With his extensive knowledge of manual therapy approaches along with a broad spectrum of wellness modalities, he is able to expand the breadth of treatment options for his clientele.
Dr. Kain is also passionate about working one on one with his clients. This allows him to answer questions as they arise and to initiate changes as needed during the course of any treatment session. Thus, the patient becomes the central focus in his or her own continuum of healing. Too often, clients are shuffled from one practitioner to another over the course of their care, which decreases the efficiency and effectiveness of their healing potential. Dr. Kain has worked within the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation for more than 30 years before branching out into this holistic care practice.
