Jayne Field is great - we play soccer here some Tuesday nights in the summer and it's a wonderful part of Detroit. There are kids and adults playing Soccer and people playing Cricket. There are two parking lots, one on the West end and one in the Southeast corner. There's also street parking on the North side of the filed on Luce avenue. The grass is cut/maintained, the soccer fields are lined and have goals, and it's a safe and pleasant atmosphere.
We had a family get together here and we all enjoyed it. We may do one every year there. They have sheds,bathroom, splash pad for the kids. Plenty of up field for kids to run around if they get tired of the slides and swings. Awesome park I loved it. Only problem we had is, we paid to have the shed area, and the area was not cleaned up when we arrived. But it got worked out
My family and I had a ball today at Jayne Field. Tony Williams is doing a remarkable job bringing softball back to the city of Detroit. Had three generations there enjoying games, food, fun all while social distancing. It was amazing. Looking forward to more events like the tournament we watched today.
New walkway has been added with water springs for children. Work in progress. At least they are doing something. Worth a visit. Nice place for morning walks.
Best softball venue within the city limits. Fields need some TLC but the competition is great!
Nice huge park, with a number of Pavillion gathering areas, the grills fire right up!! Enjoyed a small BBQ gathering that we were invited to.

Great place to walk and have the kids play. Sad how people don't clean up after themselves.

That Splash Pad is so fun my kids enjoyed it and I park is fun too for my kids
