This place you can not review it as a whole. If you are there for the music it will be a 5. If you are there for the drinks and food it will be a 3. Service is ok. The place has good ambiance for what is it. It’s Cousy and comfortable. I recommend to eat first and just go for drinks. Not cocktails wine or liquor.
A wonderfully classy jazz bar in the heart of the Quarter. I love coming here with friends, family, and loved ones to enjoy the great love band and well crafted cocktails. They even have burlesque shows on Friday evening. Highly recommended.
We always enjoy the variety of jazz and blues music that is presented in this venue, right in the busiest part of the French quarter. It is hidden inside the Royal Sonesta hotel, even has a nice outside courtyard patio. There is attentive staff, good cocktails, and good wine.
We always check out the Jazz Playhouse in the Royal Sonesta when in The Big Easy. Delightful music, great food.
What a delightful night with extraordinary band, amazing jazz music and a room of lovely audiences. The drink price is pretty fair as well. If I have time, I would come by for some great music every night.
This place is magic! The jazz concerts, the burlesque shows; I have beautiful memories here that I could never forget. If you are in NOLA you can’t miss this Playhouse.
This spot is located inside the royal sonesta! The food was good, their drinks especially the hurricane was well made better than most I tried throughout my stay in NewOrleans, the live entertainment was great especially the burlesque show.
Beautiful hotel beautiful setup at jazz bar! But was disappointed when jazz got canceled after waiting nearly an hour. Also wasn't happy when we got the bill . Ordered 2 bailey's coffee... a cocktail I order all the time . I never been charged separately for coffee and bailey's! It kinda upsets me. Paying almost $40 for 2. Wow ! A lot more jazz clubs there . I'll never go back! And hope people read this and know about how they charge!
Really excellent live jazz performance. Reservations are highly encouraged. Food was tasty. Service was friendly. If you are at the Royal Sonesta you should definitely check it out.
Ok but looking for that classic sound from the older guard. Good city to explore jazz though. Here was more modern and smooth. Highly energetic though!
