Disappointed. Booked an appointment for 10:30 am and the door were locked. So that was two Uber rides down the drain. Now I have to rush home and do my own hair.

SHE BURNED MY HAIR OFF. I saw Milkia for a wash and press. During my consultation, I TOLD her how scared I was of heat damage and applying heat to my hair. She assured me none of her clients had heat damage. What a joke. At my next appointment, I was uncomfortable with her using the "old school" metal prongs to straighten my hair that had ZERO TEMPERATURE CONTROL but she was very dismissive and insisted "my texture" needed that thing. I decided to trust in her "expertise." She obviously doesn't know how to straighten Black hair. She also didn't want to put heat protectant on my hair and claimed "it didn't do anything". I insisted on that though. She didn't use nearly enough and was dismissive when I asked for her to apply more. I am so regretful and upset I didn't trust my gut. She ruined my hair. She thinned my hair and burned off entire patches of hair throughout my head. The heat damage and breakage Milkia gave me is all over my head - EVERYWHERE. I have grown my hair for 3 years and before Milkia ruined it and kept quiet as she burned my hair off, it was extremely healthy and long. It is now severely damaged. I am HEARTBROKEN and EXTREMELY UPSET. THIS WILL TAKE YEARS TO GROW BACK AND BE THE SAME LENGTH AS THE REST OF MY HAIR. Because of this, it is so hard for me to trust another "pro stylist". I wish she at least told me. I am heartbroken. Don't come here unless you want to pay for a "stylist" to burn your hair off and give your healthy hair severe heat damage. My hair was incredibly* healthy before she ruined it. Shame on you. Do NOT come to this shop.

My daughter loved her blowout & the style, it lasted looking smooth & holding shape. It's a nice place with fairly easy street parking near by. The salon was bright & comfortable. Staff was very nice.

Horrible. Don't go here. Botched my hair. Was there 4 hours for a partial highlight. Unbelievable.
