Sunday morning, quiet shopping before noon. Store was orderly with the exception of one section in fashion jewelry .. it looks like someone had opened every boxed set. I don't blame the employees I really think some customers should shop with their own personal servants to clean up after them. The 5 employees I interacted with were all friendly, and helpful.
Had a great experience today at the Johnson City store. My wife was shopping for a dress for an upcoming wedding. Lindsey was able to hold the dress for us while we looked at other stores in the mall. Upon returning to Penny's She helped us complete the transaction along with finding some discount coupons online that would help with the purchase Great customer service!!
The store is organized and well kept. I really like their products, good quality. The reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I felt unsafe in the fitting rooms. The fitting rooms are unisex, which wouldn't be a problem IF the fitting rooms had a full door. There are big gaps at top and bottom. I had my husband stand guard at my door. My husband is 5'11 and he was able to see into my fitting room. So any man over 6 foot could easily see any woman getting dressed while walking by because the mirrors are parallel with the fitting room door, the reflection gives a full view of the person changing. It's just really upsetting to feel this way and have, what used to be, a convenience taken away from me to maintain my privacy and dignity.
I actually went to take back a diamond necklace and ear ring set that 647.00 and had decided I wanted to trade it for a ring and some ear rings! The sells lady Lori was very rude to me, she acted like I stole something,I ask if I could get the remaining balance on a gift card because didn't have the card on me that I'd used the night before.I had just returned some lipstick in beauty department,same scenario and the lady that helped me was glad to put that on a gift card for me. So, Lori obviously lied to me. And jcpenny lost a big sale!!!! Because what I wanted to trade the ear ring and necklace for was gonna equal the value of what I had originally got!!!I I still can not understand why she would not exchanged my stuff she gave us a refund but I will NEVER buy from jcpenny again. I hate that so much because I always buy my jewelry from there. She is NOT a good people person at all, I don't like to think of somebody not having a job especially now with I flation but co.w on, the lady that originally sold me the set,now she can sell some jewelry!!!!! Im sorry to leave such a bad review but this woman really made me madd°°°
For one let me tell you that the customer service in the jewelry department is poor. Also they need to change their attitudes when a customer walks up to them with a problem and they automatically get defensive. I would not recommend supporting these people at this store and the jewelry department it is disgusting. They blame it on lights but I’m sure it takes a while for that dust/mold to accumulate over time. Lazy and very unprofessional.
Prices are just so high. Nice stuff. Great little Disney store for toys, clothes, and dress up costumes.
Had not been there for years. I forgot how nice it is. Go shop!!! I will be back!
Melissa did an amazing job helping us yesterday. She deserves a raise for sure! The deals they had are great. We will definitely keep shopping here!
I have always had great experiences here the staff is amazing and there to help with any questions and help you find things.
I haven't been there in years, but Lynn was very helpful! The prices were great!
