Visited JCPenny the other day looking for solutions to the larger sliding glass door in my living room. Since it faces east I get a lot of sun light shining in. The Penny's representative was super helpful spending 45 minutes demonstrating the different option to plain drapes. I wanted something different from vertical blinds and Natalie showed me two solutions, panels and cells that can slide horizontally and provide excellent blockage of the sunlight. Natalie also shows me the different materials, colors, and prices for all the options I looked at.

So they are going out of business but u can't try on clothes because of covid,dressing rooms are closed,hence part of reason they are going out of business in 1st place and you can't return to store because they are going out of business not even to another jcpenney so anything u buy you better know your size or try on in corner

I ALWAYS find great buys at their stores!! Even had a 50% off coupon this wknd so I got some really nice things. Much appreciated!!! The only downside...not enough registers open to handle often long lines. But I do wait because of the great $ales!

I went to the Poughkeepsie Galleria JC Penny to return something i ordered online. I saw a long, long line so I asked the cashier can I return this here and she said no I have to go upstairs but Customer service was closed so I asked an employee and had told me kindly that while there are two cashiers in the children's department only one cashier will take returns. Luckily I was smart enough to ask because the lines there was also really long. I received great service by the cashier and the other employees and I was glad I was able to return it since I have been holding it for over 2 months. Its so sad the store will be closing permanently eventually. I went last week in October and it was at 50 to 70% off clearance.

While I love the men's Stafford collection it's much easier to shop this store online. I went here on a Saturday afternoon, the mall was busy and this store was empty. I don't know how much longer they will be here. For such a large store I still could not find my sizes in shirts, or if I did I only found 1 pattern in that size. The pricing is different in store then online. It's a no brainer to order online. I paid $16-24 for the same shirts that were $30-60 in the store? I do love the photo center for holiday photos. I just hope the store finds ways to improve the shopping experience. I would have been willing to pay more money for my shirts if it was a better shopping experience. Still can't beat the value of the mens Stafford collection though.

The departments are neat and orderly... There was a buy one get two free on boots... by opening up a JCPenney credit card account combined with the sale, I purchased a pair of Adidas and three pairs of Arizona boots for$113 ..

This store has some great deals. No issues with returns. Obviously you can't return to this store because it is going out of business. But go by Danbury or Middletown and no problems. Sorry to see the Poughkeepsie store closing.

I love JCPenney. The deals are fantastic and its close to where I live. The reason I'm giving this location a 2 star rating is because of in store convenience. It takes me several minutes to find a fitting room that is actually open to use and there are never enough staff at customer service to check out your items. Its literally like pulling teeth! This should really change because it takes the fun out of shopping.

Fitting room closed in Men's Suits Dept. Had to run back and forth to another dept. to try on the dress pants. No assistance offered. Register station had an employee sitting on a chair ticketing mdse. but couldn't ring up my purchase. They had what I was looking for, but man did they make me work for it.

Lots of sales! Beautiful children's and baby items at a deep discount! Went to Sephora's inside the store to look at makeup - the customer service there was excellent! The store and restroom was IMMACULATE!
