Few checkouts open. Weird that they call customers guests. I believe i was served by a manager - when the I corrected her that the item I was purchasing was on sale for 30%, I hardly got an acknowledgement let alone an apology when she confirmed it over a walkie talkie. Younger staff were very polite but other than that the store was very poor all round
The mangers here are a mess, A year ago I found a bag that had a lot of money now as an employee I gave it to someone but if it was up to a customer they could have stole it. They are always late with processing orders and they don’t wash the dirty stuff animals they just simply put it back. They hate it when you finish early and they are thankful for good workers as myself. I would often try to organize the toy sections and lingerie. The manger Tara underestimate all employees. Scheduled a photo appointment here as a birthday surprise for my partner so we can get fun family pictures with our beloved cat. After scheduling an appointment 3 weeks in advanced, they called me 3 days before the appointment and said they can’t do pet photos on the weekends, leaving me no time to make other plans.
Great store. Over 45 years ago, my first credit card was from here. My first microwave and audio system lasted long.
Reminder the old days the people who are smart enough to shop in clearance items. If u r in a budget git it a try
This is my last choice of anchor stores in this mall. It is clean and neat, friendly associates, alot of selections to choose from.....just not quite as trendy as the other two department stores here.

It’s a go-to store for me for many things- I always find something I want at a good price. Their jewelry department is second to none, in my opinion- kind of a well kept secret! Their women’s activewear section is very good- and they’ve really done a nice job with their seasonal department- great stuff.
Helpful staff, lots available in different sizes and styles. Clean changing rooms to try things on.
Flickering lights and dark dressing rooms. This store just seemed sad and outdated at this point. I understand they are doing some type of work to the upstairs but the whole store just seems dead. Could only find one dressing room upstairs that was even open. Downstairs is just an awkward jumbled mess. I'd recommend going somewhere else. Seemed most of the store was basically like digging through clearance. Also, they sell forever 21... why buy it at jcpenny when I can buy the same exact thing at the other end of the mall.
