I had the pleasure of meeting a true artist. Kelly Jean is passionate in ever detail be it color and cutting your hair to suit you. I have natural wavy hair, she layered my hair and it is the best hair cut I have had in 30 yrs. And that was by Jeffery Michaels in Ann Arbor! If you have curly hair you need to book an appointment ASAP! You will love it.
These photos are from my experience at jcp salon. After not only bleaching and destroying all of my hair, the management and staff tried to gaslight me into believing that the only issue was that the the color did not pull. Clearly the higllight placement was not correct, but she also cut my hair completely incorrect. They made me pay $175, and I had to go to another salon to get color correction that cost me almost $300. So just beware that they don’t care how they are doing business or how their stylists work.
The store was pretty clean except in the clearance area, which looked as if a tornado hit it. Clothes on the floor and garbage on the floor, too. I'm sure it's just been busy. Dressing room looked as I'd it's never been cleaned. Great prices on jeans though.
Clothes are getting expensive, but has a good clearance section
I recently had a wonderful experience getting a new battery for an old watch with the help of LeeAnn. She was absolutely fantastic and the most helpful. I really appreciated her knowledge, patience and ability to solve my problem. I also have purchased plenty of clothes and some shoes from here over the years. If they don’t have what I need and don’t absolutely need it in hand that night I’ve been able to order it and have it delivered to the store.

No Hassel didn't have what I was looking for but a relaxed environment was nice.
The store was well organized and shelves were stocked. Associates helped out when asked. Little disappointed that my birthday gift $10 off $25 couldn't be used as my item was name brand.

Went there today to buy a dishwasher and a refrigerator. The sign on the door said "Take an additional 50% off ticketed clearance price". Did not have any stipulations. Found a refrigerator that was on clearance that we wanted and inquired to purchase it. Was told, "sorry, that doesn't apply to appliances". I asked to speak to a manager who came and told me the same thing, "it does not apply to appliances. Only for clothing". I showed her the picture of the sign on the door that I had and it didn't show any stipulations that it was "only for clothing" and that I wanted the clearance refrigerator with the 50% discount as advertised on their sign on the door. She refused and said "I'm sorry, I can't honor that since it is only for clothing". I turned around and walked out and said "you missed out on a sale". Went to Sears and bought a new dishwasher and refrigerator. On a side note, their salesperson was not even able to answer our questions about the dishwasher as far as how to adjust the adjustable rack. This is the last time I will ever go to JC Penny.
