There for a suit, unfortunately couldn't find my size but I did get the dess shirt and awesome tie!
I think this is one of the larger JCPenney stores out there. There's a lot of variety: clothes for men, women, & children; shoes; home items; purses; optical; etc. Often times they have good sales. If I remember correctly, the upstairs has women's clothes, purses, kids clothes, shoes, & jewelry. The downstairs has men's clothes & home stuff.
I drove an hour and a half to shop at JCPenney. I checked out at two different registers. The first one in women’s where Renny went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met and the register was clearly marked for the line. Unfortunately I didn’t have the same experience in men’s. Checkout line wasn’t marked clearly so people kept jumping in front of me in line. When I asked where the line started the cashier Doug said nothing even after a rude customer smart mouth off to me. The floor associate who came up to assist Doug finally told everyone where the line was. poor customer service is why I stopped shopping at JCP along time ago. Guess I’ll go back to purchasing at other places. Poor customer service is what will make or break a business.
I bought 3 pair of boots on clearance yesterday. When I realized one pair costed me $75, I was returning them and they said they should have been $37.50. They refunded me the difference so I kept them, but holy cow....why was I overcharged the first time? Then, I went to get my foundation from Sephora but they no longer have that...they carry "their own" make up line now. Foundation, powder, a brush, and a small tube of covergirl primer was $109...crazy!
This was the best JC Penney's store that I have ever been to. The store is two stories and the inventory is excellent. I saw a dress at JC Penneys online and they had it in store for me to try on. The staff is exceptional, especially Rick in the men's department. Rick went above and beyond to help my husband find a suite for a formal Christmas dinner party. He spent a lot of time helping us try on various suites and helping us order some of it online so that we will be ready for our event. Rick is an excellent employee and definitely deserves recognition for his work and dedication to his customers.
I watched Renny deal with a customer that was having trouble understanding the cost of his purchase She was wonderful! She was patient and compassionate. She is a real asset to the store and should be rewarded for her excellence. Brett was also there and a model employee. I’m proud they are in Greensburg
I really enjoy shopping there ! The deals really make it worthwhile! I wish they had more of the selection they used to have. I didn't like it when other dept chains picked up the brands penneys used to have... The mystery coupon s are a big plus!!
Second wedding ring from here and Second time they told me it is one thing and then swapped for another. The ring was supposed to be solid rose gold but now when it broke they won't repair it with the lifetime warranty I purchased as well as telling me now it's sterling silver coated in gold. Never never again will I purchase anything from jcpenny! So upset about all of this!
This is my go-to place for gift ideas and dressier clothes. The associates are helpful and friendly as well. Job interview: JCP. Wedding: JCP. Business casual events: JCP. Christmas: you bet I'm checking out JCP.
Not one salesperson in each of the departments we were shopping in came to see if we needed any help. The shoe dept. was a mess. In the men's dept there wasn't anyone to help with any questions we had for the suit we wanted to purchase. The suit we did buy was on sale and received an additional 35% off by opening a charge
