I've always liked shopping at JCPenney at the Almeda Mall, before it closed and relocated to this location in Pasadena. It's been a long time since I have visited this store on Fairmont Parkway. So I'm not a follower of Penneys I suppose since I don't frequent here. The dress sock choices here are few and far between. Actually it's dismal. I only bought one pair of boot socks on clearance for $3.99 and tax today. I came to buy several work dress socks. The problem is the only ones here are made in China and the sizes were medium foot size at 6-12. Not large enough and no sock sets in the only dress socks found on a endcap and their sock hangers weren't available in 13 size. The sock manufacturers advertise on their packaging 8 - 13, however Penney's did not stock it and had too much inventory of the other smaller medium sizes 6 - 12. I do like those dress socks most Penneys use to carry, Bee Mine or Goodfellow & Co. But there weren’t any available here.

They always have deals, coupons and extra mark downs on your purchase. I can only imagine if I had an employee discount on top of the deals. The stuff would be practically free! Keep up the good work! Always thinking about the working people on a budget!

Extremely unhelpful and fraudulent. I ordered an item to be shipped to the store and was charged shipping and handling . I went to pick it up curbside and could immediately tell it was the wrong item. The customer service “manager” was very condescending and not at all helpful. She said because it was a warehouse issue there was nothing to be done and only refunded me for the merchandise. She said she would not refund me shipping and handling because it wasn’t “her store’s fault” it was the warehouse . Basically told me to figure it out on my own because she had already refunded me partially. Did not offer any additional help nor provided contact information for the warehouse she said was “at fault” . Save yourself the hassle and shop at macys , you can order items to be shipped to the store for free like everywhere else

Disappointed in the women's plus size section. Not much offered and no dresses. They used to carry quite a few dresses. Don't know why they stopped.

I had great shopping experience what made it better was the cashier Rashida who was very nice and cheerful. That's why I gave it it a 5 star because of her.

READ, READ, READ!!! If you purchase ANY jewelry from JC PENNY’s MAKE SURE it fits, I sent my fiancé ring back to get resized on JUNE 20th it is now AUGUST 2nd and I have not received ANY SOUND WORDS about her ring and it’s time to pay the 2nd note on a ring I haven’t seen in over almost 2 MONTHS. And the woman in the Jewelry Department said it “SHOULD” ready NOT THIS WEEK of 8/02/22 but NEXT WEEK MAYBE!!! WtH what kind of Business is this??? Please Don’t make my Mistake!!!

Terrible customer service the young man dressed all in black I asked, "do you work here." Rudely replied I am helping someone else. I just said never mind I found it. It wasn't what he said it was the ugly way he replied to me. Ruined a good shopping experience for me and no need to act that way.

Although I didn't found what I was looking for I ended up buying other things that I have been needing for quite a while. My goodness the Sephora store was empty and the check outs were ready to see people. Good customer service received by the representative at the check out. Regardless of the holiday the store was organized. Kudos for this!

JCPenney's has pretty reasonable clothes but they don't have enough plus sizes for people that are overweight and also Penny doesn't have enough people that works the floor to help you there but overall pennies is okay

Very easy to find things there always a sale and the customer service is awesome
