Would have bought shoes here but didn't have my size and no wide sizes either. Prices were okay, but wish they were better for the end of summer. Went to Famous Footwear were I always have much better luck. Thank you for reading. I hope this helps.
Love the Sephora in this store! I get lots of vegan friendly and cruelty free make up here. Just wish the employees were a little more accommodating because a lot of girls don't have a lot of knowledge on make up, especially for certain skin types and tones.
I love shopping both online and in the store at JCPenney's. There are always great clearance deals in the store and online, plus there's usually coupons you can use also. The only reason I do not give them 5 stars is because check-out is ALWAYS very slow at my local store West Lebanon, NH. I've never been shopping at this store and not had to spend at least 15 minutes waiting in line for a cashier. Most recently Friday, June 20th, 2018, they originally only had ONE cashier available, even though the line was getting quite long. Just as I added myself to the queue, they opened another register, which was nice, but it was not enough. There were numerous people getting in line and there were many people who had several issues that slowed the check-out process i.e. a discrepancy on pricing where item did not ring up at the same price as customer saw out on the floor display, requiring cashier to walk all the way to the shoe dept. to verify pricing; prices missing from clothing garments requiring items to be scanned by cashier and then customer deciding whether or not to keep the item; problems using coupons; etc.. I know I was in line, PRIOR to reaching a cashier, for more than 20 minutes, and there were so many people in line behind me, and 4 people in front of me. Everyone had to wait much longer than I think anyone should be made to wait during a Friday morning shopping trip when there's no holidays or massive sales anytime in the near future the end of July is not when I would expect to stand in long queues!. They desperately need more cashiers. THAT BEING SAID, my cashier was a blessing. She was very helpful, finding me additional discounts, and we had great conversation too. So there's no problems with the store, or the employees, they just need more of them to handle the long lines that I encounter at every visit!
We went into JCPenney in W. Lebanon NH on August 12, 2015. My husband needed clothes for a wedding. We were waited on by a young female associate whose name I think was Dominique. She gave us the best service we've had anywhere ever. She was friendly, patient, very helpful and efficient and found us rewards that saved us a significant amount. I hope that this review will give her some recognition of some kind because she really deserves it.
First there's a horrible selection in the junior department. As I walked around I found shoes I needed to get in a deferent size. Sat there for thirty minutes and asked twice for someone to help. They called for someone and no one showed. The second time they had to look for the person. By the time they got there they told me I had to order online for a size. Of course. I'm not an impatient person but this visit was annoying. As i sat in line to purchase my one shirt. Twenty people in line and two people working at a desk. As I handed my money they gave me my cash back and said have a good day. I politely asked for a bag and my receipt, and the cashier rudely said "I'm getting it hold on!" Sorry but, the service was slow and not worth my visit back.
As someone who used to work there I am deeply sorry that those if you who had a bad experience there had to deal with those asshats....also the girls who work in the salon need to go back to beauty school they absolutely suck at their jobs! I have not once gotten what I asked for when going to the salon because they feel that they don't need to take the time to do a good job and do what they are being paid for. Both the managers and employees are rude and have no clue how to treat customers the right way. I will never again spend my money in the store or salon as it's a complete waste of time! I regret ever even working in that dump!
I bought a coat online for my son and when it did not arrive I called the online service who only gave me the run a round and they would not refund my money. They said I would have to go to the store when it arrives and then do the return. They sent me an email survey to do and I completed it and was fair in my assessment of the whole experience and they wrote back saying they were not going to post it. It was a very PROFESSIONALLY written critique of my experience.I cannot and will not in good conscience do business with a company that "hides" reviews!!! Sham on you JCPenny, you just caused me to renew my Amazon prime membership!
It is one of very few places to shop in the upper valley , and prices are good when there are multiple deals going on. However, their inventory is so low. The kids section is particularly tiny. The options in store are so few that most of the time we have to order online, try on at home, and return to store. Which usually is a hige hassle, takes forever, and if I used rewards I lose them.
Ordered a curtain from the store 3 weeks ago and they promised me that it will arrive in 4-7 days. But I still did not get it for 3 weeks. I asked for the customer service where is it and when it could be received, they just simply said they do not know. I am really disappointed about the slow delivery speed and the bad customer service.
Ally Santore I’m sorry if I spelled it wrong was amazing. I can in with my family and she squeezed everyone in. She took my boyfriend then my tired 2 year old. After she saw we were waiting for a long time for my girls appointments she worked her schedule and got them both washed up and cut. Even though we were not her clients and my 6 year old was so wiggly. She worked fast and efficient. Everyone looks amazing and she was so sweet and I will go back for her any day for hair cuts and styles. Extremely grateful!
