The store seems disorganized and when there, after taking a while to find what I wanted, checking out was difficult. It’s hard for me to walk long distances and I was directed to the toward the back in cosmetics. At cosmetics, I was told to go to very back of the store. Got all the way to the back and 3 employees were hanging around registers but said they weren’t working but we could check out at jewelry. Went to jewelry and the two ladies there clearly didn’t want to check me out but finally did when I said it wash the third attempt, and my last, to check out. It’s been a while since I’ve been to JCPenney’s. It may be a while before I go back. It’s not the store it used to be and if I want to be treated to a long snake line or as if customers don’t matter, I can always go to Ross.
This is one of the few stores at The Mall at Turtle Creek that survived the tornado of 2020 in Jonesboro. It is similar to a lot of other department stores as to what it offers and it has a much larger selection than some of it's competitors. There is a Sephora located within this store although I haven't shopped at it. The clothing options aren't bad and with some of the coupons the prices aren't either.
The store was clean and neat! Lots of Sales!! Danya was very helpful and even wished us a Happy Holiday for Memorial weekend. Very Satisfied Customers!
This is the first time I have been here in more than 10 years. Very few employees. I found what I wanted right away. No problems.
I was given a Christmas present from my great grandmother that cost 120$. It was a gift that I am unable to use so I wanted to get something else I expected to be able to exchange this gift for something of equal value. When I got to the counter the lady explained to me that even though this was a Christmas gift since I didn't have a receipt and there was no phone number associated with it I was only given a gift card for 24$. I was blown away. My great grandmother does not have a phone. She is not tech savvy to use a cell. Everybody talks about the crooks on the street but what about the crooks behind the counter. This is some kind of legal theft. I will never shop at JC Penny again and I strongly urge you to be careful if you choose to.
Excellent sale… especially the last Saturday before Xmas! Lines were long but it was well worth the wait. Staff was friendly & helpful.. especially Michelle! Don’t over do it today

I went with my mom who found a dress with no price on the tag, so she ask the cashier to scan it but decided against it. The cashier told her her total for 1 other clothing item was $130 something dollars. She didn’t take the dress off, and when my mom brought that to her attention she argued with her that she was right an the price we $130 still Thanks but no thanks.
Store is ok, definitely not what it used to be. With that said people are great and they have a lot of my favorite brands. If I don't feel like going into the store then the JCPenney app works just as well.
I called 12 times and no answer! I'll do my business elsewhere....
