Nicole Carpenter, a stylist in the salon at White Oak, was able to turn the bad cut that I came in with into a cute haircut. I've received compliments from friends, and have already made my next appointment with Nicole. She not only is professional and friendly, she knows what she is doing!
Decent store, just wish the customer service was better. Went to go exchange an item I just picked up from the store the same day because I ordered the wrong size. I believe there was an error with the machine, but I was patient nonetheless. I told the cashier in the return department that I have no problem starting the return from the jcpenny app on my phone and then making a separate purchase at the cash register up front. She just had an attitude the entire time and kept saying that I’ll have to purchase the pants I wanted to exchange even though I said I would multiple times because her computer wouldn’t let her complete the exchange. She then rudely started the purchase because “the line was getting long.” I kindly Said okay. After she printed the receipt, I said “sorry about all of this, I appreciate your help.” She shoved the receipt in my hand, sighed and pushed the bag towards me. I just went on about my day.
What’s the point of having curbside pick up if you are going to have people out there for almost a hour waiting for someone to bring your order out just for them to cancel it and you have to come into the store and get it anyways . Walk in the store and they’re just standing bodies everywhere. Unacceptable
Had only one person working at the main register. Had over 20 people in line to check out. A co-worker not sure if she was the manager, but came to bring the cashier change for her register, though this young lady had a line full of customers she left oblivious to assisting the cashier who was doing the best she could.
Mykirah was awesome. She was courteous and friendly. Great customer service. I will definitely look for her on my next visit.
Some items are a little pricy but there's a variety of items that you can't find else where close. Always clean when I go and the staff is helpful when looking for something in particular.
Avoid this store if possible. The staff will treat you like trash when asking for help. I work in retail and I would never speak to a customer they way I was spoken to today even if they were rude.
Poor Penneys!!!! They need sales people desperately!!!! Only one person to check customers out and one person to process returns! REALLY??‍. Well, hip, hip, hurray! to those 2 employees and God bless you for getting out there to earn a living.
Stopped by JCPenney today to shop for Jeans. Picked three pairs to try on. Went to two fitting rooms, but both were closed. Asked an associate where an open fitting room was. He didn't even look up at me and responded, he wasn't sure. Went to front register area and a cashier stated, I could just buy the jeans and if they didn't fit, I could return them. What a unintelligent thing to say to a customer. Visiting this location today, I received the worst customer service at a JCPenney, in the 38 years I have been shopping at JCPenney's. Another customer was walking out the door complaining she had been at the register for 30 minutes and the clerks could not figure how to refund a purchase. The associates I spoke to today, have a very poor work ethic and apparently no motivation to put forth a good effort. I do not see this location staying open more than two years, unless management can fix their associates loser attitudes which equates to poor customer service.
I've been a member here for years. They always have a pretty good selection of clothing and customer service is usually on point. I would defiantly recommend .
