I don't normally leave reviews but the owners Jeannette Pallida-Southerland and Jeff Southerland were just so confrontational and rude over the smallest things, I couldn't even register for the life of me how they are still in business. She was mostly the instigator but the husband didn't help much in resolving anything. Honestly, just save yourself a headache if you can and go elsewhere.
The owners of Jewelry Designs Unlimited are awesome. They care about their customers, listen to their customers, and work great with them. The owners try their best to make their customers happy. They also care about ur jewelry whether u bought it from them or not. They do not over charge u to fix ur merchandise, and they tell you when they will have it back to u in a certain time and they do just that. I will tell anyone and everyone to go there. If u don't see what u want they can order or try to find what u looking for. A Great company and very noble people that is not trying to beat u out of money. That's what I been looking for, a company like this for a very long time. So happy I finally found them.
I stopped by to check the cost of repairing a bracelet. They were very professional and gave me a quote.
The owners are very rude. Asked them about soldering 2 rings together. They gave me a price of $50. Asked if it could be done while I waited. Yes but it would cost an additional $70 rush fee and then went off about how they didn't steal people diamonds and if I didn't trust them then they didn't need my business. I had just gotten my rings and didn't want to leave them with anyone for a week or more. I also had never heard of their business even though I have lived in the area for 60 years. I never accused them of swapping diamonds there was no reason to get snippy with me and also no reason for a rush fee that was more than than the service I was requesting. Sounded sketchy to me that they got defensive just because I didn't want to leave my rings with them. Will take my business somewhere else.
Great place for jewelry repair. Lost backs off my earrings and could not find replacements. Went there and they found the perfect backs. My ring needed prongs repaired. The work was perfect and very reasonable priced. Caring and nice people. Highly Recommend.
Jewelry Designs Unlimited is the ultimate jewelry store of Montgomery! Jeanette & Jeff listen to their customers wants and expectations, and they always go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy. They have some of the most exquisite and beautiful jewelry I have ever seen. They have a wide variety of selections to make sure there is something there for everyone no matter what the style is. Being a locally owned business, you really feel as if you are part of the family while shopping with them rather than just a number at a larger corporation. JDU has been in business for a long time and for good reason! Jeanette and Jeff are experts and can provide you wonderful guidance and education when picking out a piece of jewelry. I promise you will NOT be disappointed when shopping with them.
The sweetest and most understanding people I have ever done business with... I ordered a piece with them and ended up having to leave to Pennsylvania... They were understanding and made sure I got the piece before an event that I had scheduled.... Their knowledge, understanding, patience, and care is impeccable! will definitely be purchasing from them in the future!
If you need your jewelry fixed come to this store. They fixed both of my birthday necklaces. My chain broke on both necklaces and they put it back together in less than 10 mins.
I was proposing to my Fiance now wife and knew going into it that she had a very specific ring type in mind that was very custom from the setting to some of diamonds and in an Art Deco style that wasn't common at the time. I went into Jewelry Designs Unlimited and asked them if they could recreate or recommend me any other options. They took the picture of the ring and told me they would call me the next day and let me know what my options were. I was expecting to have to have a conversation with my wife about possibly finding another ring I tried to get a second option at first and she WAS NOT having it. I get the call from Jeff and Jeanette the next day and they told me they could have it recreated 100%, no problem. Not to mention they could save me a lot of money in the process! In 3 weeks that ring was in and I was floored. Hands down the finest craftsmanship I've ever seen and an absolutely gorgeous ring to boot! Thank you for everything that you guys did Jeff and Jeanette!
I broken a link in a gold chain from a different seller. Took it here to get repair with no problem. It was ready within a week. Family owned business with great customer service high recommend!! I’ll be a returning customer
