Jed Williams Gallery was created in 2010 by local visual artist Jed Williams. This unique space seeks bring the Philadelphia community the most high quality, upscale and exciting abstract art, focusing on painting and mixed media ( and occasionally photography and sculpture)-while providing a glimpse into the art process and work of Jed Williams himself, a unique and noted Philadelphia abstract painter. The gallery features an elegant white wall main gallery space designed for the exhibition and promotion of local artists; behind this gallery space is an authentic artist studio where one can see the art process and work of a real artist.
Jed Williams Gallery focuses on exhibiting and promoting local emerging and mid-career artists, mostly from the Philadelphia area but sometimes from other national and international locales. JWG reaches out to the community by hosting special workshops, benefits and events promoting local social and arts organizations .
