Avoid this airport at all costs. I have never had a worst airport experience, and I’ve had some bad ones. I arrived within the state of time, but there was no one at the counter, and they argued with me about what time I arrived. They sarcastically referenced the security cameras, so I told them to go look at them and see that I arrived within time. They did not. They talk down to me and another customer, as if we were children. I didn’t mind that I missed my flight. What I mind it was being lectured by someone. They went above and beyond to go out of their way to make us feel bad. It was absolutely unnecessary. Instead of continuing to interact with them, I chose to call American Airlines and sort it out with someone on the phone. It was worth the 30 minute wait not to interact with this rude and unprofessional people at the counter.
Free parking. Very courteous staff. Full TSA Screening and comfortable gate area seating. All timely. Announcements a little low for my hearing. Overall a solid A
The airport itself is what it is. It's small. It's clean. As expected for such a small regional airport.. The service is horrible. TSA PreCheck is not honored. Prepare to take off your shoes and pull out all your packed things to be riffled through despite having paid for the ability to move through security quickly. System issues. My state Colorado ID wasn't accepted. Sent from security to ticketing where I was reissued new boarding passes and sent back to security with instructions to tell them I didn't have an ID. I'm not aware of being able to fly without ID, so I asked to be walked over so I could get through. I was told no, to just tell them I didn't have one. As expected, this didn't work and the TSA lady was incredibly rude. She stated she didn't work for the ticket counter and what she says goes. Okay. PreCheck ignored, I was subjected to a ridiculous amount of search. I was forced to take my hair out of a bun for checking. What they thought was in my hair, ill never know.
Free parking. Fast TSA checkpoint. Roll the dice. You might depart/arrive on time, but to be fair, that's probably American Airlines' fault.
I was at the Jefferson County Master Gardeners test garden for their spring plant sale. Very enjoyable time. The garden appeared to be well maintained and the prices for the plants trees and shrubs was phenomenal. You will not find those prices in the big box stores.
I cannot complain about anything regarding this airport. It is convenient, small and very efficient, just the way this small town girl likes it. A big plus would be getting a competing airline in there also; just a thought...
Easy airport to navigate. Very small. Rude TSA. Overall, pleasant experience. Definitely a convenient airport serving the Beaumont and surrounding areas.
Obviously not as large as the other airports so it lacks some of those big airport amenities restaurants, etc but it's very quick, easy, convenient, and effective.
Very small and accommodating airport. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Poor service with AMERICAN AIRLINES, they have a monopoly there however, be prepared for them to overly burden you with scrutiny during TSA checks. Also be prepared to wait long periods of time for your luggage after a flight. They’re extremely slow with an attitude.
