The Jefferson County Young Lawyers Association (JCYLA) is an organization for the young lawyers of Jefferson County. This page will serve as the hub of our organization, where you can see photos and info on upcoming events and programs.
The purpose of this Association shall be serving the public interest; cultivating the science of jurisprudence; promoting reform in the law; facilitating the administration of justice; fostering respect of the law among the citizens of Southeast Texas; advancing the standing of the legal profession; preserving high standards of integrity, honor and professional courtesy among the young lawyers of Southeast Texas; and cooperating with the other young lawyers associations in Texas, Texas Young Lawyers Association, American Bar Association/Young Lawyers Division, State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association and other legal organizations in furtherance of the aforementioned purposes.
