No bathrooms - no gas station near by - only atms - no apply google pay - they do not allow you to hang out in the station before or after you arrive. Hope this helps some. Be prepared there isn't any food places in walking distance either
Traveling is okay stops are okay but I lost my shirt in the bus for that I’m calling to Jefferson lines they are not even responding and in that bus air conditioner also not working.Driver saying outside is less temperature so we are okay with the temperature. Helpline service in the Jefferson was not available.
Spent over 900$ in the last week going to and coming back from South Carolina. Im 1 stop away from my final destination and im told that all buses leaving are cancelled due to a storm. "Not my problem"... was the ticket ladies response. So i spend almost 1k in a week and i get to sleep outside in a winter storm with ZERO compensation. 1.96$ in my bank account. "I dont control the weather". Thanks for ruining ANOTHER trip.
Have taken public transport in over 30 countries places like Russia & Mongolia and this is by far the worst company I’ve ever travelled with. Ridiculous delays, cancellations, terrible customer service & no refunds even if your bus breaks down. My bus broke down, was 7 hours late, missed my connection so was out $160. Not just this but they dumped me outside the bus station at 3am and said I could go across the street to the Salvation army if I wanted to wait somewhere.
Terminal was a decent during my visit. Didn't wait too long for a connection. I would have give it a 5 star, but the terminal does not have an awning or covering for outside.
Staff is informed, friendly and helpful. The station is always clean and can't beat the free Wi-Fi. Would be a lot better if the station was more inside the city of Sioux Falls. Also, only one bus a day to Omaha.
Great staff, very friendly and accommodation. Small, and that about my only complaint. It wasn't overcrowded when I was there though. Manager is very vocal with his employees, seemed very well organized. You can tell that they're actually communicating about what needs to be done.
I am amazed to see the great reviews of this place. My driver knew nothing of where the bus was going when she got off work. I asked the new driver when the bus was leaving he said when its moving it's leaving. I tried to inform the front of the driver not being helpful to every guest asking her a question her answer was I didn't know but you getting off my bus. I'm off work. While I'm telling the young girl behind the counter she looks blankly at me then to the crowd and asks to help whoever is next. Reaction from the crowd of people in the lobby was they were all as shocked as I was. I then asked what her name was she continued to ignore me I then asked to speak with her manager she said he will return on Monday but I refuse to give you my name.
Jared Hansen was the best and most caring driver I have ever been able to imagine. I went to Souix Falls South Dakota to Gillette Wyoming and was very scared because this was my first bus ride!! I hope Jefferson values him enough!
Though it's not located downtown and you have to take the city bus to reach it, this depot is pretty good. Comfortable seats inside, clean bathrooms, a Subway right next door for food, courteous employees. In other words -- the direct opposite of Greyhound!
