...creating wardrobes to fit your lifestyle
Jeffrey Bartlett"s 20+ years of tailored clothing experience began in 1986 on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. Jeffrey learned his trade with the "The Custom Shop" and "Hamilton Tailors", maker of the Master's "Green Jacket". One of Jeffrey's early mentors was Ed Heimann, who is Arnold Palmer's personal tailor.
In the Spring of 1992, Jeffrey opened his own business. This was an important step, because it allowed Jeffrey more freedom to source fabrics from any mill in the world and to study from the best tailors. Notables include Martin Greenfield in New York, who makes clothing for the better retailers in New York City. Adrian Roberti in Rochester, who was the head tailor for Hickey Freeman in 1964. Lou Myles in Toronto, who was Frank Sinatra's personal tailor.
Jeffrey Bartlett has served on the National Board of Directors for the Custom Tailors and Designers Association. The association is an educational resource for the custom tailors and designer's industry. Jeffrey's 20+ years of success has come from the ability to listen to his clients and to build on those relationships.
