Since 1978 I have been serving the Front Range of Colorado in a variety of legal capacities– as a prosecutor and now as a defense lawyer for over 25-years. Criminal defense is my area of expertise.

Description

As a Criminal Defense Attorney, I am passionate about what I do. As a former prosecutor, I bring an invaluable perspective to the criminal justice system, for my clients. When my clients contact me, they are already in trouble or under investigation for something. They are worried, unfamiliar with the system and need guidance. I take great pride in what I do and will “fight like hell for them.” Their case will be analyzed for substantive issues and possible defenses, and we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that it doesn’t happen again. Hopefully the client will learn something and grow as a person, through the experience.

Jeffrey Larson is knowledgeable and competent. Given his education, background, and experience, you can trust that he will represent you in a truly professional manner. He helped me understand my situation. He explained step by step what I should expect once I found myself in the court system. In addition, he was always available if I had questions or concerns. Jeff was prompt in responding to phone calls and e-mails, exhibiting excellent communication skills. Perhaps most important of all, Jeff was very good at helping me not become overanxious about my situation. Jeff took a traffic court case for my dad. He took the case on short notice, and just dove in. The outcome was favorable, for which I am so grateful. The bigger part of this picture was the overall service provided to dad, as well as other family members. I always felt comfortable and informed when speaking with Jeff and it was quite apparent that he was on top of all procedures and dates. His early recommendations for actions prior to the hearing proved incredibly helpful in front of the judge and certainly helped prepare my dad for what to expect in the courtroom. I had a very positive experience with Jeff. He had excellent ideas and recommendations to help me prepare for getting the best outcome/results possible. Jeff explained a few different ways to approach the situation I was in. Jeff displays integrity, professionalism, expertise, honesty and is respectful to everyone. As you can imagine, with his experience, he has worked with many judges, prosecutors and people who work in the courts. The judge asked me two questions, which required of me to answer with a one word reply for each question. The outcome was much better than I expected.
The traffic ticket I received was an unpleasant surprise. Jeff Larson was very professional at helping me work with the court. His knowledge of the law and courts was extremely helpful it getting a positive resolution on the problem. The outcome of the case was better than I had expected and have him to thank for that! Professional, Knowledgeable and Helpful are all words I would use to describe Attorney Jeff Larson.
I went to a free law clinic to get some advice on my case. As this is very important for me and my family, I asked people there who is the best to complete the task perfectly. A very nice lady told me that she is not the best attorney in this area, but she knows one who is the best. After waiting for half an hour, I got chance talk with Jeff. The first impression is that Jeffrey is very knowledgeable, competent, and very caring. After several weeks waiting for a response from the public defender, that is a huge difference. He told me that I can do this by myself for free, not like some attorney who tried to get every penny out of you from the first moment, and give me some instructions on how to do it. Then I told him that I was not quite competent and confident to do it, and made an appointment with Jeff to talk about having him to represent me. Later on, he gave me a very detailed introduction on the procedure, and also what has changed in the last several years. He is very professional, responds to my email and phone call almost immediately, pays a lot of attention to details. He charged a decent fixed fee for the whole case, which is well worthy his knowledge and effort. My case turned out to be a hearing, and I was very nervous about that. Jeff called me several times, explaining to me what would be going on the hearing, the best scenario and the worst scenario, making me feel much better. Comparing with my experience with the public defender, I felt every penny I paid him worthy the value. He knows the legal system very well, and very caring for his clients. Finally, thanks to Jeff's representation, I got what I wanted from the court. He also offered to send me some reports so that I can make sure everything is done perfectly. Even with the court representation, Jeff did not charge me more than the fixed fee. In sum, you can trust him, know what will happen in the court system, and believe that your case will be represented in a very professional manner. The court system is super stressful, don't get public defender if you have the money. A good lawyer is just like a good friend, preventing you from being overanxious about your situation. And Jeff is the best, I highly recommend him to anyone who needs a great attorney.

Jeff was by far the most help I’ve ever received. Having never delt with the law he made the process so smooth and truly made me feel like I was important and always gave me the time of day when I had questions. Accidents happen! When you need representation Jeff Larson is there helping you get the best outcome for your case. He makes the whole situation painless and is a pleasure to work with. I truly appreciate the service he provided in my case.
I got a DUI in the Longmont area in may of 2015. Jeffery Larson charged me $290 an hour the minute I stepped through the door. There was no free consultation, and I don't feel like he did very much for my case. He was rude, condescending, and he charged me over $3400 for less than a day of work, including "one hour" for my initial consultation. Do yourself a favor and find another lawyer.
Our experience was exactly as explained to us in our initial meeting. The outcome was what we hoped it would be. The process was very professional, and yet personal.
