I wish I could give zero stars! I saw Dr Jenkins 2 weeks ago for hemorrhoids along with some troubling GI issues. Upon entering the room he declared he couldn't do anything for hemorrhoids, they just had to go away by themselves. He didn't even examine me and talked over me when I was telling him about the other issues, saying they'd all go away when the hemorrhoids did. Several days later after my issues had worsened I went back to my general practice PA who ordered a CT scan which showed numerous serious GI issues. Had Dr Jenkins listened to me and taking me seriously, I could have been well on the road to recovery now. Instead I had to cancel a long planned trip to NM to see my daughter and granddaughter and have to wait another week until I can get in to see a different GI. I've never been treated so unprofessionally by a Dr!

I saw Dr. Jenkins about 10 years ago for a colonoscopy. The absolute worse experience ever, and I should know, I had cancer and have had many colonoscopies in my lifetime. I would highly recommend you see another Dr. I went to the followup appointment to make him aware of my dissatisfaction but like the other reviews on this site, I waited over an hour and then decided it was not worth my time. I did however say as I was leaving the office how very unhappy I was with the Dr, in the hopes the other patients in the waiting room would be forewarned. The only reason I am posting this so many years later is because the experience was so terrible. At the time I was not even aware we could post reviews online. Please see someone else.

This doctor is so bad. He overcharged me. He asked me to do some tests that were not necessary. The reason why he asked me to do the tests were because he thought I had rich parents. He literally said that when I asked “how much will these tests cost?” He replied ”I thought you had rich parents!” After I said “no, I don’t have rich parents and I do care about the cost”, the doctor said “maybe you don’t need to do those tests then” Then he asked me to come back later.

Dr Jenkins is a good doctor and is very kind. You cannot say the same about his staff, specifically reception. They are the reason I no longer go to this practice, which is a shame because I like Dr Jenkins. It's not hard to not be mean or rude to patients, and they're clearly losing business because of it.

Office Manger is a lier unprofessional speak ill of other patients infront of you with the staff. Makes you feel uncomfortable. Does not know when she makes appointment or informs you on what you need to bring to the appointments. Misplaced documents Imagin this is just paper work would you like a doctor that has staff like this doing a surgery on you when they can't keep paper work Nor appointments no thanks. We had to rush to the hospital due to lack of service and how much pain I was in.getting a different doctor who with a better staff and who knows what they are doing.

By far one of the worst doctor I've ever seen. Had an appointment at 2, was seen at 3:15 with approximately 15 other patients waiting in the waiting room. He is the only doctor and 15 people waiting nearly close to the end of day, herds them in like cattle. He literally spent less than 5 minutes with me. I went in for a colonoscopy screening but had other digestive issues I'd been dealing with for weeks, I told him I had labs done, he wasn't interested in the labs, I kept telling him the labs I did had samples and maybe could assist in determining what my issue was. He barely heard me out and pulled out his pad and prescribed antibiotics. I did not know at the time but I had tested positive for Hpylori, had he read my labs we'd had a different conversation and different prescription. A waste of my $50 co pay. Has no bedside manner either, could be because he's practically ancient with little patience for his patients. Called my primary doctor and requested a different referral. This experience was a true depiction of how much our health care sucks.

Dr. Jenkins is an experienced and stellar physician. He is well known and respected in the community. The day the art of "medicine" is performed by a computer, then, can you expect to get things done without a wait. Until then, the caring of patients requires that the unexpected will happen... some patients are more ill than others... emergencies do occur and you'll be satisfied to know that the physician on duty will tend to you in that situation vs. leaving you to fend for yourself because he's got "scheduled" appointments. This is in response to the last review which was obviously written by someone who is into the instant gratification madness that Californians are so used to.

Dry humor . Did not listen to my symptoms. Told me he was not going to diagnose me because my Intestine weren't twisted enough. Told him my pain is so bad I pass out. Never coming here again.

Very unpleasant. Dr jenkins gastrointestinal handle patients very unprofessional think twice before going to this Doctor not a good Doctor doesn't check on patients medication I needed a chart signed to send to primary doctor never sent or signed

The office staff is horrible! I made an appt, arrived and was told they were too busy to keep my appt unless I wanted to wait 3 hours. I rescheduled and they never reached out with a reminder or provided me with an appt card, I missed that appt. I contacted them to r/s, they were so rude on the phone. I going to Dr Hung. This place SUCKS
