I am quite surprised at all of the positive reviews. There are some shaded sites but we were assigned a spot without a leaf of shade. The pictures online must be photoshoped because the camp looks nothing like the pictures. Extra vehicle has to park in a storage area which is a long walk in the 100 degree heat. The campground is nearly empty but you still have to park in the storage area empty sites on both sides of us. Charged $5 each for our 12 and 16 year old kids. They call them adult children. Another traveler across from us was expressing many of the same concerns to the receptionist. The answer to the customer was that they would gladly refund his money so he could "move on down the road." Yikes! Customer service at its best. I would only stay here as the very last option. Wish I had tried the campground a bit up the road. Not an $80 per night campsite for sure.
Very nice grounds, nice pool and game room. However, bathrooms need updating and duck poop should be cleaned up as some spots are gross. Overall though I would recommend this campground for overnight stop! Convenient gas station right next to it as well which is great!
We pulled up just after 4:00 here in Florida. In the heat of the day. Staff is friendly enough, just not much common sense as we were put in a full sun site with a empty site jus 150 feet away that has full shade. These campsites are tiny. It doesn't make sense because there is plenty of wide open space that could have been used for bigger sites. The pool has a vacuum that is not running in it, it just gets in the way and the cord poses a danger to little ones swimming. Bath house right off the pool looks clean, but out of the 3 showers, one is out of order. There is a game room with pool table and ping pong with is nice. No campfires here, just a heads up. We will not return, very frustrating to be parked 3 sites away from the shade.
Of all the KOA's that we have stayed at, Jennings, Florida has been to notch in our eyes. We had a incident with our truck and it will be a bit before it gets fixed. Anyway, a special shout out to Jennifer, Operations Manager, Tammy Manager, and their team of workers. Especially a huge appreciation to Robert Motes, a worker at Koa. Robert has been incredible by assisting me getting around until I got a rental. I don't have enough words to express how we really feel. Thank you all for everything. Jason & Kelly Sarnowski
Perfect one night layover right off I-75 on the Florida Georgia line. Pull thru sites so you don't have to unhook, clean restrooms, and a nice dog park. We've been there multiple times. Easy in / out.Service: 5/5
The staff, Tammy and Dave,Bob and Kaloa, Duane and I can’t forget “Patty “get a rating. They did a great job considering what they were given to work with . We stayed at other Koa campgrounds on the way down, in my opinion this is not a Holiday it’s a Journey it has 52 sites for overnight this is the most of any I’ve seen. We made great friends loved the back half of the campground, much quieter. We knew going in it was going to be a-little noisy, traffic was incredible we heard 3 tires explode saw traffic stop because of an accident. We were in site 86 from November 1 until April 15. Not a bad park still needs a lot of work. The one thing I need to add is the reason it was a three star rating was because there was no support from the owners, and my wife and I have the same opinion there was obviously no support from the owners only criticism. Not what I would do to motivate people working for me!
Great stay at this KOA. Entry very close to the expressway. The grounds and facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a large pond where you can fishcatch/release, lots of ducks, grackles, saw two turtles swimming, and they have a nice playground and dog park. Not to much nearby to do but we just needed one day for a stop over.
Really pretty camp ground! The staff was really friendly! We stayed in a tent. It was very close to the highway and we were kept up all night by the noise. We were supposed to stay two nights but decided only on the one after a sleepless nightService: 4/5
This is a great campground. It is easy to get on and off the interstate. We got there after dark but in the morning I could see a playground for kids and a pool. I wish we hadn't arrived earlier. I would stay there again. *If you have a BIG camper, the places are a little tight. You might want to request certain sites. They did say on their map that they are adding a big rig section.
I LOVED this location! I stay at KOAs pretty often and this one is in my top 3! The cabin was extremely clean, and the view is gorgeous! They are on top of who comes on/off the premise.Rooms: 5/5
