Great owners and staff always willing to help resolve you were construction needs and suggest easier ways. They even suggest ways to keep the cost down. Several times I rented equipment and came back late, and we've never charged extra like home Depot would do... Recently rented a lift to cut down some trees it worked out really well thank you Jersey rents

I Rented 2 light towers over the weekend, I called them to see if we can pick up the 2 light towers with my pick up and a buddy’s pick up and when We got there one had a bad axle and the other had a flat tire So they had to use a flatbed to get them to the property add an extra charge of $200. When they finally arrived on the flatbed at the location nothing worked properly on them, which was also a major safety concern. They should not be rented out to customers in the condition they are in, which is extremely unsafe. I would be careful renting from the Bayville NJ facility. Kudos to the flatbed driver that came to pick them up. Took him almost an hour to get both of them on the flatbed because of the horrible condition that they are in.
Horrible experience dealing with the owner Rob and his assistant. We have tired to purchase multiple machines from them and I can never get Rob on the phone. His assistant gives me excuse after excuse as to why he can’t get on the phone and promises me a call back by the next day which never happens. We are going on 2 months since I initially spoke with Rob about the 2nd machine we were trying to purchase and I call weekly to check in but he is never available and I have not gotten one return phone call from him. Our first experience here was exactly the same until conveniently the machine was sold by the time he got back to me over a month later. Tried giving them and second chance but at this point We will never do business with them.

These folks are about service and experience. They provided a great machine, on time with delivery and pick up. Beyond that, i have to say that their representative Rob Sr did a great job providing excellent customer service ensuring that my equipment need, knowledge of equipment, and expectations were met and exceeded. Jersey Rents has the equipment and service to make the most difficult tasks easy and affordable.
It was so nice of Jersey Rents to let my nephew borrow mechanical equipment he needed for his Eagle Scout project. They even offered to let him borrow anything else he might need in the future in order to help the Boy Scouts. The fellows at Jersey Rents even helped put the machinery in and out of the truck for us, great customer service! They truly gave back to there community and we will use them for personal rental needs in the future!
Will never rent anything from here ever again. Went in to rent a stand behind front loader like the bobcat mt85. They gave me what is basically a lawn mower with a bucket on it without showing it to me first. On arrival it ran for about a hour before it shut off and would not restart. A “tech” came out and jumped it and told me not to turn. It off till I was done. It shut off by itself in 15 minutes. Would not restart. I called and asked them to pick it up because it was just costing me to much time and money to have it there. I was told they would come pick it up that day. It wasn’t I had to call about 15 more times before they picked it up the next day around 3pm. After this they still did not want to refund any money because “I used it for four hours” now I’m my book a day rental is a day rental not using a broken machine for less then two hours. After going to the shop and being told it was my fault apparently that there machine was not holding a charge they refunded me 100 of the 322 I had spent on this rental. Overall their equipment is not well cared for and there customer service is terrible. No one know what is going on there. I spoke to at least 5 different people with no solutions. Terrible experience.
A few months ago I contacted jerset rents to do some work on a telehandler I own. I spoke with Ralph the service manager about the repairs I needed done. New rear axle seals and a control shifter for the transmission. I was upfront with Ralph that down time on the machine was a major problem for me and if the repairs would take more then two or three weeks I would need to bring the machine elsewhere. Ralph ensured me he could handle the work in a timely manner. I had the lull brought to Jersey Rents on 11/14/18. After three weeks of phone calls to the service department I finally received a quote. After waiting this long just for a quote and hearing everyone of Ralph's excuses possible I knew the machine would not be repaired anytime soon. However the expense it would cost me to move the machine to another location for the work was to great. I opted to have jersey rents perform the work. Now in the beginning of January 2019 I was told the work was completed and machine was ready to be picked up. Then I received a call from Ralph that the steering cylinder was also leaking and needed to be replaced as well. I am not quite sure how they could of had the machine for this length of time amd not realized this prior. I was now looking at more repairs and more down time. Finally on 1/28/19 I was told by Ralph all repairs were complete but not to schedule my pickup until after my bill was paid. which they did not have ready After stringing a customer along for three plus months I thought he would be anxious to get my machine back to me. He was not though and only concerned with his payment. I would by no means ever bring my equipment to Jersey Rents again for repairs, maintenance or rent from them after this experience.
