Double wash- Wash the vehicle twice over. The reason for this is to ensure a good finished product after wax. I use the first wash to get off the larger deposits and cover all surfaces. The second wash is to fine touch every surface to make sure there is no dirt getting waxed over.
Engine bay- I spray the engine bay with light water pressure to get rid of deposits that build up on block, firewall, and transmission. I then wipe off all engine covers, reservoir caps/covers, strut towers, and under the hood.
Drying- Use squeegee to dry car completely
Interior- Clean all windows, and mirrors with invisible glass cleaner, wipe down all surfaces with armor-all detailer. I do not use the greasy shine on surfaces, over time it ruins your vehicle’s interior. Vacuum seats, floors, head liner(if applicable). Wipe down door jams.
Hand wax- I do not use automatic buffer. The only difference in an automatic buffer and a good hand wax is the time it takes. I believe a good hand wax relies on attention to detail. Follow the lines of the car and the end result is priceless. I use either Meguier’s Carnuba wax or Black magic wax.
Tire shine- A good detail is not complete until the wheels/tires are clean. I use Black Magic wheels cleaner and tire shine.
