This is my first time visiting Jessie Mae's and let me say...I have NEVER had a piece of chicken or pork chop fried as perfectly than I had today at Jessie Mae's. It has that crunch that u see on TV, but hardly ever get in person. The seasoning was delicious and not too salty. Mac and cheese is also very good. Price was on point and I also love that you can add a piece of chicken or pork chop a la cart. Will definitely return to try more items.
I hope I’m reviewing the right place but they cater at my warehouse regularly and I just want to say it makes my night to be able to enjoy quality homecooked food every once in a while here. All of their sides and entrees mac, collard greens, honey bb and smothered chx, sweet potato are cooked wonderfully. i only had their cormbread and cookie once but both were amazing, and their mac and cheese is crack. Their staff are so friendly too :
I had a wonderful experience at this establishment. I was greeted by an upbeat, cheerful woman who was given amazing customer service to the person before me. I really appreciated her gift for acknowledging my presence without taking anything away from the person in front of me. The food is delicious and the service can't be beat. I will be back.
I only had the bbq wings & they were ok. The place is small & kinda dirty. The 2 people working there were very nice and the reason I gave it a 3 star. I will go back an try something else an hopefully change my review to a 4-5 star.
It's a good place to eat they have specials everyday so you many good choices.
Real friendly people, but a rather limited menu, and only one or two tables to eat at. Definitely aimed more towards carry-out. Only beverages are water and kool-aid.Food: 4/5
Got the alligator nugget dinner and it was cooked perfectly! Really loved the sauce that came with it!

Went there for the 1st time today and EVERYTHING was great. We got 2 wing meals with Baked Mac and cheese, Collard Greens with cabbage and sweet potatoes. Everything was GREAT!! If you are looking at all the reviews, deciding if you should try it or not... try it!! I highly suggest Jessie Mae's and will be back in the near future.
French toast breakfast is , everything is good, that mac n cheese ain't nothing to play with either, don't forget to grab a bottle of Kool aid , you'll probably fall asleep after.. Had the blackened tilapia today, mac n cheese, and dirty rice, I just woke back up from a food coma, man that food was so good, if you're in the area and haven't been yet, you're slippin
