If I could give zero stars, I would. To make a long story short, I booked flights for a dream vacation to the Maldives with Jet Blue. I called twice the week of my flight to confirm details since I couldn't see the flight info in the app, which was concerning to me. I was reassured twice by their agents that my flight with a partner airline was still scheduled for the original date and time. They told me that the reason that I couldn't see the flight info is because the flight was with a partner airline. Fast forward to the day of my flight and the airline terminal is a ghost town. The flight had been canceled on Oct 5th. Jet blue claims that they "emailed me on the 5th and 11th". I never received those emails. Regardless, I spoke to them on the 10th and 11th. They did not give me accurate, real-time info about my flight. We ended up spending two days stuck in Chicago and I spent over 8 hours of my life on the phone with Jet Blue trying to get rerouted. We ended up losing 2 days of our 7 day trip. When I returned, Jet Blue refused to compensate us. They finally gave us a measly $100 flight credit each. They said that we arent entitle to compensation since the partner airline dosrupted my flght. I pointed out that the jet blue agents should have told me there was a schedule change when i called on the 10th and 11th. This was my first time booking through Jet Blue. I will probably never use those flight credits after being treated so poorly by this airline.
Flight 95 from HPN to MCO 12-2-23 12:05Am Our flight was delayed several times due to air traffic issues in Florida. Kevin flight attendant made the experience so pleasant. Hat a. Great way to represent JetBlue airways. Thank you the positive attitude throughout the pre-flight. You turned a bad experience to a great one. Sting work
This was my first time flying JetBlue internationally. I had a wonderful experience with all the members that worked there, at the airport and on the air.
Trapped in airport in St Lucia because plane was deemed unfit to fly, no transparency with what is going on, just a lot of "we hope to get another plane here soon, maybe?" Gave us some snacks from the plane after two hours of waiting with little information. Offer of future airline credit is a joke, will never fly an airline that doesn't maintain its planes well enough to keep them safely on schedule. UPDATE: After four hours of waiting, JetBlue apparently decided we were not worth sending an extra plane to rescue, and have been told we are getting some hotel vouchers, but no word yet on actually getting a flight home. More later.
Myself and my wife decided to add an additional cruise to our vacation that would leave from Miami and drop up off in San Juan. As I am 6 foot 6 inches at 275 lbs. we booked us a direct flight from Boston to San Juan on an aisle seat and my wife in the middle seat. The flight was due to leave from San Juan at 1300 hrs. and that was perfect for our cruise. A couple of weeks later they informed us via email that they changed the flight as the first one was canceled to 0500 hrs. in the morning and that was impossible to the cruise schedule. We called and due to the fact that there was not any more direct flights that day we had to accept a flight with a connector thru Tampa. Although that was not great as I do not like connection flights that is not why I am writing this review or the fact that most of the flights were delayed. The reason is the flight from San Juan to Tampa. When we were seated on the plane we were in a three seat row and my wife and myself were seated in seats 12 C and 12 B and this woman was sitting in the seat next to us with a dog that was about 40-45 lbs. Now I understand that some dogs are allowed onto the plane so I looked around and noticed that there was an entire emergency row row 10 - 5 empty seats empty with the exception of an off duty jet blue pilot in uniform and as we up graded on the way down I asked if myself and my wife can move to that row as we are not comfortable with sitting next to a large dog unsecured like this and the stewardess stated that she will check. She then returned and stated that were was a window and middle seat in the back of the plane that we can have but not the emergency isle seat. I told her that I am not comfortable with being jammed in like that as that is why I am in an isle and she stated that all we can have. So it is my understanding that it is OK for the flight crew to sit in the empty row and to make sure that one of the staff pilots off duty was comfortable at our expense but not to move us to an emergency isle well fit to assist even though we upgraded on the flight down and on top of that the poor lady next to us was forced to hold the dog for the entire flight and that was a little under 3 hours.
I had an issue with my luggage allowances with my flight connections with one leg being with JetBlue from Jamaica. They required me to pay for my check in luggage which from experience is not usual and this was my first time being asked to pay. I asked for a supervisor and got Odouyouye I think that's how it was spelt. He basically said I have to pay and dismissed me by walking away. I felt like a fly he just swatted away to continue on his way. Jetblue, you consider yourself the low price leader but this service is unacceptable at any price. Please consider #softskillstrainingrequired
I have been flying Jetblue for years and I will continue to do so as long as they serve the areas where I want to go. Big shot out for Crew member, Juan ID: 40127. Juan is knowledgeable, polite, patient and professional.
Great service, comfortable flight...always!
Bob saved thanksgiving! He truly deserves a promotion and a raise and hug. He embodies customer service and deserves to be recognized. We will only be flying jet blue from now on because of him. He was working the ticket counter on 11/28th around 7pm. Please show him our appreciation.
Absolute robbery. Went to cancel a flight well in advance and was given "travel bank" credit. After calling the hotline for 5 hours straight they kept deflecting me. BUYER BEWARE
