Very clean and easy access. Fishing spots along the water edge and the pier, which is not long compared with other area fishing piers. There is a bait and tackle shop right inside the park. Attached with the shop a cafe serving simple meals is there too. I caught an okay size snapper, other than that the bite was not strong at least when I were there. One star is deducted for the 15$ parking fee. Kinda pricey!
The beach is very good! It has a beautiful view, the sea water is not cold and the sand is fine.. And there are rentals of beach umbrellas... my children always want to come back!
Very nice park. We were able to see 3 cruise ships go out to sea, you really don't think that channel is going to be big enough and it is. We were also able to see the spacex launch from the end of the pier. From as many fishermen as I saw on the pier it must be a good place to fish. There is a beach there also. Looked like you were able to use lounge chairs. The restrooms were decent. You do need to purchase your parking pass before entering. I think it was around $16.
Jetty Park Pier and beach are great destinations for observing cruise ship traffic and ocean activities. Fish, birds, porpoise and water sports abound. You can see the most beautiful sunrises at the beach. Also saw SpacEx reusable booster being towed about on it landing pad.
Must buy pass in advance or pull over while there and buy before entry and they close at 9pm. If you want good fishing and plan to stay all day for it it’s not a bad de. Not a lot to do other than fish. There is a big jetty with a fishing pier adjacent to it. There are several boardwalks for beach access and showers available. The beach is not better than other beaches actually prefer others better. There is a playground which is nice, several clean restrooms, changing rooms. Camping inside the campground or outside the camp closer to the water. A lot of picnic tables and grills. Some walking paths. Volleyball area but need work/sand. Large pavilions with large grills but they want $75 to reserve those. Beach rentals available- my opinion, should be included in admission to park. Beach wheelchairs free for the handicap. All in all I wouldn’t pay to visit again. I reside in a county North of here otherwise it may be worth an annual pass for a county resident - not for a non county resident tho. It just didn’t meet my expectations.
It's a beautiful place. Too much building going on. It's a shame that the cruise ships are taking over. Less places to go. I have been gone for 20 years and I am shocked on how much things have changed. Used to grow up here. Ocean view very nice with sea turtles, fish and wildlife on many occasions. You can watch rocket launches, fish or just hang out and catch some sunshine. Bring your sunscreen. The sun will toast you otherwise on these summer days.
Beautiful park and beach. Great facilities with restrooms. There is a vendor available that rents umbrellas and chaise lounges. You must buy tickets from website before entering. Plenty of parking when we went but we got there early in the day. It could get busy and I understand that they can stop selling tickets.
1.5 mile walk on the beach from Royal Mansions Resort vacation rental VRBO 4749786 “Endless Summer”. Extremely beautiful beach with gorgeous dunes all with a first class fishing pier! This is an incredible experience that we have enjoyed for over 20 years the pavilion and restaurant is a wonderful addition. Magical to see the cruise ships depart and return once the cruise lines resume! This beach has is great for swimming, walking and biking..perfect year round!
This is a great place to fish it seems. I am from the west coast of Florida and visited Jetty Park Pier to check out the rocket launch. Great view of the launch although this pier is south of the launch pads. Regardless, the pier itself is extremely clean and has fresh water coming out of the faucets. There is also a boat ramp right outside of the pier that also has water for you to hook up a hose if you wanted to flush your boat motor. The pier itself has rules which is included in the picture. It is quite a lengthy pier that does not require a fishing license. Even if you decide to to not fish on the pier, there are rocks along the water for you to fish off from. There is also fishing line PVC pipes for you to dispose your line in!
Watch cruise ships and a variety of boat craft and marine life. Fishing. If you’re lucky you may see turtles and dolphins.
