Greek salad was very good but Philadelphia Cheese Steak and Pastrami Sandwich both on Pita Bread was a little greasy. French Fries were also very good. Very convenient from the Beach or Marina.

The lamb and chicken was good and the quantity was alright. But $12.50 for a gyro and some fries is excessive. For us a gyro is supposed to be made with fresh ingredients and not be heavy. This cafe puts cooked onions and peppers in theirs, which was not bad tasting, but not what we enjoy.

First visit and found servings to be fresh and ample.great hummus and falafel, babaganoush, salads etc all wonderful and my lamb gyro was excellent. Leftovers were ample as well. Looking forward to next visit.

Beach place. Take out or limited seating outside. Had the Philly Cheese Steak and fries. The sandwich was large and very good, wrapped in a gyro as opposed to a sub roll. The fries were OK but the oil was old. Limited drink selection. Very small place with a few good menu selections. Would rate this place higher if it were cleaner. Receipt says the name of the restaurant is Mediterranean Cafe, same address and phone number.

We LOVE this place!!! The owner takes DEEP PRIDE in his cuisine. Please keep in mind he cooks to order and sometimes it may take a few minutes longer. If your SUPER HUNGRY and can't wait, I suggest that you call the order in. I promise you that it will be WELL WORTH IT! He is also really generous with his servings. I have read a few of these reviews and some call him rude. He isn't rude at all, just imagine someone telling you how to do your business??? It's called PASSION, he has DEEP PASSION for his cuisines. I suggest that if you have special food issues then, you present it to him this way. Anyway, EVERYTHING ON HIS MENU IS FANTASTIC!!!!!!! I LOVE IT HERE!!!!!!!

Had a Falafel sandwich. Very good. Dripping mess all over my hands and arms. Really French Fries. First time here. Just moved in the neighborhood. Good outdoor seating and weather for it. I highly recommend.

Great food. Lamb gyro plate was delicious and filling for around $10. Small curbside dining area is great for enjoying the nice weather. Seems like carryout is the most popular way to dine here.

Pricing is alright, good food. A little slow on delivery but what do you expect it's one guy handling the joint. One gripe, the salad is always overly dressed, it's a small thing but there shouldn't be a puddle of vinaigrette . Other than that everything g else is top notch for being so niche to the area . Calm lunch spot, always coming back for more !

First off, super tasty! The rice, falafel, chicken, lamb, are really good. Only a few spots outside to sit and it takes awhile to get your food but let me tell you, I would rather wait and get good food then get something fast and regret it. It's hard to find good food in Oxnard period. Order ahead of time.

This store opens at 11:00 am. I called in my lunch order at 11:15 am. The curt woman who answered the phone said that not only was the cook not there yet, but she could not take my lunch request for the eventual arrival of the cook. I had to divine the cook's tardy arrival and call back then. Looks like tacos for lunch again.
