Good bowling alley, terrible bar. Parking is kinda weird here you use the lot and the gate will auto open when you leave. The back entrance is a little confusing the first time because there is no signage and it looks shady. Once you're inside you are time travelled back to the 80's, but don't let the look fool you, this is a pretty well maintained bowling alley. It's just a little small, with only 24 lanes, if there is a league going you're probably going to be out of luck. The bar here is TERRIBLE. They do not serve pitchers, and they do not do tabs. So you'll have to go back and wait in line to get a new drink all the time. The mixed drinks are small and weak. We tried asking for a server at our lane a few times and got ignored the entire night. If its a weekend night and they give out wristbands, everyone must be present at the bar to order, so your bowling has to stop completely. Its just a huge pain to use the bar here.
Decent wait times. Not too crazy for a weekend. Fun atmosphere with a lot of music and cool light shows while you bowl. I always have fun going with friends and family. Food is good as well. What you expect from a bowling place.
Budget friendly, good parking but most importantly very clean. The staff could be slightly more friendly and attentive and my only reason for not giving 5 stars.
Meh. Went on a Tuesday evening. It was very expensive for what it was, and what it was wasn’t great. It’s definitely cheaper to pay by the game than by the hour. Our lane had wet paper towels all over the approach, and under the ball return. Floor was sticky. Food took nearly an hour, and was not great. Cheese fries are disgusting. Cheese is so cheap it doesn’t even melt. Chicken tenders are nothing but cheap, overcooked bread. Regular fries were really good with one meal, and overdone with the next. Fry seasoning was great. $50 for bar food for 3 people is outrageous. Credit card machines preposterously suggest a 30% tip on top, down to 20% in the three options. 30% tips are for spectacular service at a fine dining restaurant, absolutely not for someone to deliver overdone fries on paper. Staff was friendly enough, but not enough to make me spend another hundred bucks for 3 people to eat trash food and bowl for an hour.
Old school bowling alley that was reasonably-priced when we visited. We paid $28 for 2 games and shoe rental. The system is high-tech and pre-programmed to our reservation. My son had some trouble with gutter balls, so the manager came over and showed me how to add gutter guards to make it more enjoyable for him. We didn't eat anything, but there is food for purchase on-site, and with the right crowd, you could spend the whole afternoon here.
Great experience. Food was great. Worth a try, prices were also good and fair. We went late and got a special for the hour, played for 2 hours with 6 players for $115. Look and ask for deals and specials . They have 2 pool tables also. They have a separated bar area, the drink we orders were on the light side and could have been less pricey. But over all good experience. I highly recommend for a date night, girls night out or a family night.
Super spacious and the mini arcade was fun, fun, fun. Also love the bar area can't wait to go back!
Eat before you go. The food was not good. More than half of the games at the arcade were not working. They were too cheap to turn on the AC in the arcade "room", or maybe telhe AC unit will also broken? You have to get a card to play the arcade games, which was fine. What I have an issue with is putting $20 into the machine, asking for a $10 card, and forcefully made to get a $20 credit. We wanted to distract the kids for a few minutes so we could wrap up and leave. Since a majority of the games were not working and it was so hot, the kids ended up playing a couple of games. We ended up with an unwanted credit now of about $17 on the game card. We couldn't have ran out of there faster. We gave our game card to a random kid and left. Go to Bowlero or Pinz i instead. Don't waste your time here.
Be prepared for a possible 2 hour wait on weekends! So this place is also called Back Alley Bowling so it can be confusing but it’s the same place. Overall this place was fun and my friends and I had a blast! There was a live MC for some reason that orchestrated little games and contests! They even gave away a free trip to Vegas as one of the prizes, the music was good and place was clean. The 2 hour wait without really any warning or way to know that that would be a possibility and the fact that they only give you 10 minutes after you receive the text that tells you your lane is open is the only reason why I didn’t give this place 5 stars. Also, just so you know, the parking is set up really weird because it seems like they share a parking lot and get to use it on the weekends so even though the sign clearly says jewel city bowling parking it still didn’t feel clear that we should park there because almost all the spots said reserved and there is a gate that opens at the other end.
It’s good old bowling,, check this out.. so park in the back. There is a small hidden door as you walk down this hallways you make it seem like you just can out of the back of the lanes…. Go check it out it’s Clean fun bowling …. One day we will me On the lanes oiled or Not I’m going to Destroy you through my legs blind folded for A strike And to Provide it once Again I will Switch….. lol
