I had a last minute problem with the flowers I had ordered for a baby shower in Kenosha. My daughter in law lives near here and told me they have great flowers. They saved the day and sprayed flowers blue for me so we could stay on theme. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! The compliments I got about these flowers were more than I have ever received. The flowers were so fresh and the price was so reasonable too!!
As far as produce freshness, I always find shopping at Jewel hit or miss. Such was the experience today. The Cotton Candy grapes were all showing their age just one step to being a jelly ingredient. As too were the cherries. Tomatoes on the Vine were more orange than red. There were only a small quantity of honey crisp apples and seemed to be there only because they were inferior quality. "Giant" blueberries were more pea sized than plump. The peppers are 99¢ each were priced as each and not by the pound because of their tiny size. Don't get me wrong, there are some good buys at Jewel, such as the 99¢/lb chicken. But for produce, I usually find myself looking elsewhere.
The employees in the bakery all gave me so much pushback when I tried to order a cake! They first tried to tell me they discontinued many flavors on the menu months ago, but they had a board above them with the same flavors handwritten as “available today”. They can erase that if it hasn’t been available for months! Why are they misleading their consumers? And then they told me they couldn’t do whipped cream frosting because the cake would “fall apart”. First of all, if this store can’t do whipped cream frosting then why is it offered on their bakery menu? Second of all, I SAW ABOUT 20 CAKES FRESHLY MADE WITH WHIPPED CREAM IN THE BAKERY THAT SAME DAY. I was so frustrated! I ended up taking my business to a different retail store and they were happy to take my cake order. And I’ve told everyone I know not to order cakes from this place. So disappointing. Honestly, what is the deal with this location? Were all of the FOUR bakery workers I spoke to rude to me because I’m a person of color? Or are they just lazy and don’t want to bake cakes?
It was our first experience to go your store. We found everything what we need except the fruit and “sunpelegrino” drink. Fruits looks like not fresh, may we was wrong. Signs with the name of the rows seemed small to me. I ask member card at cashier, they said that I need to sign online. It would be convenient if you could get a card at the checkout.
When I first came to this Osco it seemed that it wasn't friendly. But after I actually used it it's one of the nicest promises I've been to in a long time. They were able to get me my medication within a relatively normal time and they answer their phone within a minute but I could tell you is a big deal..
Love Jewl and is on. Produce is the best around and the pharmacy has the best staff out of all pharmacies
Restroom is so bad and small. This store has been there for decades and in bad shape...look at Target. It's a good place to buy sale items.
A bit smaller selection overall than other jewel oscos for produce. Seafood is pretty good here.
I stopped in the morning time. Me and my coworker always buy food and snacks etc. for our crew. I went to self checkout. And basically was not only accused of stealing but profiled and so was my coworker a black man . The lady was very rude and was racist most likely by the way she was excessively standing too close to me and was also harassed by a customer. This store is very unprofessional and discriminatory. If I could leave this store a negative review a thousand times I would. I didn’t catch the name of the worker. But because I was blinded by anger because of her bias and bigot way of thinking. Won’t be returning. And if your skin is darker than white . I wouldn’t recommend you coming to this jewel
Location to purchase an I-Pass. Took nearly ten minutes for someone to help us at customer service.
