This is an extremely interesting site, and it's the resting place of Missouri's 22nd Governor, Charles Hardin. The most well-known of the Jewell family buried here is William Jewell, who died while establishing a college in Liberty, Missouri. You might have heard of William Jewell College est. 1849
Quiet little cemetery and pretty. Visited here for Missouri Passport stamp.
Signs say open dawn to dusk and there is a plaque just inside the gate, but it is bolted shut and not accessible. Looks like a cool little cemetery with some interesting history, but you can't get close enough to make it worth stopping.
Interesting and well kept.
