The Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys provides programs and services that meet the needs of our local Jewish community – from Glendale to Rancho Cucamonga and south to Whittier. It also serves as the Jewish voice and leadership in addressing issues that affect the Jewish community as a whole. The Jewish Federation focus is on the entire local Jewish community:
- Convening Jews and Jewish organizations together.
- Serving as the Jewish voice and a resource and support for
the community’s local organizations – both Jewish and
non-Jewish.
- Create a connection with the local, national and
international Jewish community
- Responding and coordinating community efforts when
emergencies arise
The Jewish Federation of the Greater San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys is the entry point for many people as they find their way into the Jewish community and strengthen their connection. We raise and allocate funds for local and national needs, in support of Jewish individuals, schools, camps, organizations and the State of Israel. And we provide leadership in addressing issues that affect the Jewish community as a whole.
To build community by strengthening and enhancing Jewish life. We do this by providing programs and services that support the needs of the local Jewish community, and act as the Jewish voice on issues that affect the greater Jewish community.
