My daughter has stayed here three different times on the fourth and fifth floor. She had received nothing but top care from everyone. I have to say they were proactive in providing the extra care and services needed before we even had to ask. Her comfort was their top priority. This comes from everyone one. Nursing staff, housekeeping, nutrition staff, transport staff. All went above and beyond with every stay. Her room was near the nurses station and I heard nothing but positive interaction between staff. We have been in many hospitals in this area and in other states and this one by far out shines them all.
I have seen so many negative reviews lately and I just don't understand it. Every time I have utilized this hospital, I have had wonderful experiences. Today, I had an appointment for a CT Scan at 8am. I arrived 30 minutes early as was requested. The receptionist was very friendly, as was every single employee I interacted with. The lab tech was polite, knowledgeable and efficient! I was in and out before my actual appointment time. Every area I was in was clean and bright. I would definitely go there again!
A few times I went here I had excellent care...other times not so much. It depends on which ER doctor is available but the hospital space is very nice and clean! I had the best experience with Dr. Elizabeth Davis!!! I felt she really tried to get to the bottom of my problems and took me very seriously. She's like an angel. I'd give her alone 5 stars! I wish I could thank her for listening to me and restoring my faith in doctors again.
I had a great experience here. I came for surgery, and all my doctors and nurses were extremely supportive and kind. One nurse especially was really awesome named Sasha. She made me laugh and smile though everything and even went out of her way to find a jewelry piece I lost. I am so grateful for my kind nurses.
I wish I could leave a zero star. My dear aunt who was 38 years old suffered a massive stroke and was air flighted from Anderson Mercy to Jewish. This was after begging the staff at Anderson Mercy to air care her to UC. They refused. I personally believe it was for money When we arrived at Jewish Hospital we were met with the most rude and indifferent staff. At 7:50 pm a neurosurgeon came out to talk to us. He was great. We were told that she had no chance of survival and would die. At 8 pm we were told we were not allowed to go back and see her because visiting times were over. This is end of life - not visiting a sick loved one. Her own CHILDREN were not allowed to say goodbye. The next morning we were told no one was allowed to see her to say good bye. She coded at 9 am and passed away. Her own children did not get to say Goodbye to their mother. I have never in 20 years in the medical field seen people be treated with such cruel and merciless care. The nursing staff is the worst in the city. Save your self the heartache and make sure your loved one goes to University of Cincinnati Medical Center or The Christ Hospital. I can promise you they will be met with compassion and empathy from every employee.
Emergency room is a joke! Sat there for over 2 hours with my mother who just got out of the hospital 2 weeks ago with a stroke. Brought her back because she was feeling dizzy, nauseous and her blood pressure was 177 over 82. But for some reason a stuffy nose was considered more important than a stroke. The people checking in are rude! Now nurse banks is a sweet heart and once we got back the nurses who drew blood were as sweet as can be. Now i know its not easy dealing with a senior but come on show some respect.
Arrived in E.R. on sunday around 1:15 p.m.. We were called back fairly quick to get my vitals checked, etc. Then told to wait in the waiting area for a room to be seen by the doctor. There were only a few people in the waiting area when we arrived. It was now going on 3 hours and still haven't been called back. Nobody came up to us and said anything about when we were up next to be seen. The waiting area was filling up and nobody was going anywhere. We left without ever being seen by a doctor. We definitely won't use Jewish hospital E.R. again.
Had a pretty standard procedure done and it went very well! All of the nurses and docs were super nice and friendly, made me feel so much better. I wish I could remember all of the nurses names but they were very kind and I really appreciate that! Thank you
The worse emergency department i went there because i had been experiencing lightheadedness. The first nurse that was supposed to stick me left after sending me to get a urine sample. The second nurse tried and was semi successful but hit a nerve and could only get a couple vials of blood, he stated he would get someone that could stick me. The third person comes in and tries unsuccessful and very painful she blew 2 veins and said she would get someone to do an ultrasound which was a lie. The fourth nurse comes in and i tell her im not a pin cushion because she was also trying to stick blindly so i left. Alyssa the PA calls anf said they found something concerning and that I needed to come back. When I returned I was told to sit and wait while everyone that arrived after me was seen. Now I know they are doing this intentionally so I left. They don't care about your health this is my first and last time going to this location so unprofessional and all the nurses need to go back to school. The ladies at front desk also need training they sat there talking about me you can see it obviously being done when they keep staring and giggling. The get these kids with no experience just to pay less. The cater to certain people and ignore others . This hospital would prefer you die before they assist you appropriately and nothing will be done or said to staff the services will just keep deteriorating.
We had a short stay there in CCU with my mom. The entire staff worked hard to make mom comfortable, to answer all of our questions, to try and make our experience there as good as possible. We had amazing doctors and nurses. I wouldn’t hesitate in taking a loved one back there.
