I went here for an emergency and it was the worst experience of my life. DO NOT GO HERE. I waited for hours to get help, place was dirty, and bill was RIDICULOUS. I had a guy placed next to me in the second waiting area who I had to listen to him throw up for 45 minutes straight, while his wife and crying baby were next to him. I was provided very poor, minimal services and was charged 200% higher for same services in the area. This place is a SCAM. I tried to reasonably explain my experience, show them my price comparisons in the area, and was completely stonewalled with the bill agency after I was told majority of it would be covered by my insurance before I left. Billing person even admitted they get phone calls like this every day and is a management issue and nothing can be done. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. You will be stuck with horrible service and a massive bill. EDIT: It has been two weeks, since the owner has "reached" out to me and claimed they would review my issue. There has been no follow up and nothing has been resolved. They pretend to care in the review section to save face, but don't actually do anything. PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE.
Terrible pain management here. They refused to admit me with a blood clot and UTI, which is one thing. But it took over 2 hours in the ER for the doctor to administer my pain meds. Then he has the gall to downgrade my pain meds because HE thinks it shouldn't hurt much. I've been at a 8-9 pain level for so many hours and now they are sending me home like this.
I have tooth pain that's been hurting me and keeping me up for more than 5 days and it's unbearable. I keep calling in but the doctors ER is always full and they just leave me in there for hours and hours and hours until I leave. I only go to the hospital when I absolutely have to mainly like a kidney stone or this time my front tooth cracked. The staff members on the phone are extremely rude unprofessional and don't know proper. This hospital treats people unfairly. All I need something for my pain for my tooth but they won't give it to me so I won't go in. I keep calling and they keep saying that they're full 24/7
Very small. Very slow. Doesn’t allow 2 parents to be with minor when busy. The waiting room for the ER is scary, it’s very dirty and nothing was cleaned in the 2+ hours we were waiting around.
Bad,bad, bad! Lazy staff. Etiquette??? Probably can't even spell it! Unless they read this review. So many poor review's for years and all they do is apologize. Why hasn't any action been taken to improve this sad excuse for a hospital? This begins at the very top on down to maintenance or guards which ever is lowest. Somebody up there needs to put they're feet [not foot] down hard and leave an impression in the ground! Take notice!
Came here in an emergency on vacation with a dislocated shoulder and was seen, treated, and discharged in 45 minutes! Everyone was so kind and helpful and got us in and out as quickly as possible.
This is probably the worst hospital of all time. It's literally the embodiment of the health care system for low income families. When I got there. I was going in and out of consciousness, my perception was non existent, I was confused, and I was having seizures. Before I was vomiting on top of it all. The staff literally ignored that I was having Serotonin Syndrome, and what I was saying. They also treated me like nothing was going on, and that it was a McDonald's customer causing a minor inconvenience for them. I went to the front to see how long they'd be. The male nurse said, "Go back to your seat" in a very annoyed voice then said "Nothings killing you in 6 minutes". I said "but the seizures that could." He stumbled a bit then got angry when I accidentally touched some papers I thought I had to sign. As I walked away I raised my voice saying "I told you I can't think straight." Much less hear when people talked. It was getting worse. The only guy who cared was a security guard with actual empathy who noticed I was unwell. I sat for hours and all they did was confirm what I had. I tried explaining what had happened to the male nurse again like he asked, and he rudely interrupted saying "I know what it is" after he ignored my initial comments and the seizures/symptoms I was having. He was so cynical and was being Captain Hindsight after the 3 hours where symptoms were finally wearing off as I waited for some medical attention. JFK literally did nothing and they confirmed what I had as I struggled to talk, listen, and think. They also told my brother to leave when he was there to explain everything. I hope he reads this. Just because you're a nurse doesn't mean you care for people. This happened in Halloween in 2022.
Worst experience ever it took them 7hours and 30 minutes to tell me exactly what I had tell them when I got there and the more irritated that the doctor did not even took the time to talk to me. I begged for them to help me with my pain do to Kidney stones, but they completely ignored me. And at the end they tell me sign here and you can leave now. I couldn't even walk because of the pain, it took me a while to get up and started walking and they went and said do you want something else because you can go now. It was just a nightmare. Worst experience ever for me. Not only do they take forever to see you but they treat you like nothing because they rather be gossiping than taking care of their patients.
Amazing attentive care with kindness and efficiency. I had a fall and lost consciousness and experienced dizziness and vomiting. I had a CT scan and was out of the hospital ER in less than 2 hours. My home country could learn a lot about efficiency from this ER.
The emergency room felt very human and warm. Right away, the staff took my blood pressure and came to me with paperwork as I was in so much pain that I was having a hard time being coherent. They were very kind. A few minutes later, because the pain was in my left shoulder blade, they checked my heart. I really appreciated this because I knew that pain presenting in the shoulder, for a woman, can mean heart attack. My heart was fine, which relieved my concerns. I was given a shot of Valium. But here’s where the system became less human. When I finally saw the doctor I could barely walk or make sense because of the fatigue of being in extended, excruciating pain I entered the small cubicle where he talked to me for 2 minutes. I wanted to sit down. He told me to stand up. He assured me my discomfort was just because of some repetitive exercise I had done. Maybe that was the case, but it didn’t explain why the pain was unbearable. I didn’t have the presence of mind to convince him that for a week I had been and was still suffering. He asked few questions, offered no advice going forward and gave me no prescription to manage the pain, aside from muscle relaxers. What bothered me most was that he scoffed that the staff had checked my heart. They did their job correctly. I went home and the muscle relaxers didn’t make much difference. So I have had to go other routes to get help.
