Jiffy Food Store

I use to live in athens 20 years ago and went to this store regularly. I decided to stop here for gas while passing through. The clerk seemed to be bothered by me even being there. The woman was rude and unhelpful. The store was very dirty.boy have things slipped.

Jiffy's just isn't the same anymore. I don't know how you take the number one lunch spot in Athens and then ruin it in the matter one year. Also they ripped out everything in the front of the store and put up spray painted plywood everywhere looks ghetto

Love the chicken any kind all good. Staff is always kind and friendly. I need my weekly chicken fix.

I love this place. They have the normal stuff a quick stop gas station would have, but what makes it special is the workers. They are super fun kind and funny. I go there some times to get a drink just so I can shoot the breeze and catch up with the ones who have been arround a while.

Jiffys used to be a town staple when I was younger man they had great food you could order good juicy burgers till like 10 at night and the pizza was great and they were know for the gizzards, livers, and chicken breast. Man it was great but then it got sold and now everytime I go the chicken breast does not taste the same the livers are dry the food just went down hill a couple years ago and I have stopped going to this jiffys and started going to the jiffys on Hwy 31 and it was great to begin with then the pandemic hit the owner sold and I'm pretty sure to the same people cause the food in the last year has went down just like the others !!

Their food is OK. Location is convenient. There could be only two people in the whole store and two people working register. And you still have to wait five minutes to check out. Service is extremely slow

This Jiffy’s is on Market St down by the post office and Athens Hospital.Highly disappointed is an understatement.First time Ive been in the store in a couple years.They use to have the best breakfast,lunch ever.The Chicken Finger meal pack was always my go to so to bring back memories that’s what I went with.I took it to go and when I got home the fingers and potatoes were so nasty.There was enough grease and oil I could have changed the oil in my car.Dont waste your money or time doing business there do yourself and your cholesterol a favor go somewhere else.

Love this place! The food there is so delicious! The employees that were there during my visit were so friendly, extremely helpful, & made me feel valued! I enjoy going to Jiffy & I am a loyal customer. I've been going there for 9 years & plan to continue. I highly recommend this store.

Employee smoking in the front door. Three disrespectful teenagers running the store. Had to wait for kid to get off phone to take my order. Chicken fingers dry and flavorless. Store smelled and dirty. Store wasn’t busy so it should have been a better experience.

Hey visited jiffy food store yesterday on West market Street and I had to wait 20 minutes at the deli meat section just to get two sandwiches and I think the store needs someone standing at the deli meat section all of the time ready to wait on customers and not make the customers wait 20 minutes just to get two sandwiches it's not no sense in it. Either speed it up and have somebody standing at the deli meat section at all times or get turned in to the health department and state and please clean your store up or somebody needs to have your store on the restaurant ratings on t v.
