Dr. Byers has been practicing urology in Southern California since 1997. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Urology (ABU) and has been recognized by the ABU and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) as a Certified Specialist in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery. She offers her patients the full spectrum of treatment options, incorporating diet modification, physical therapy, nutritional supplements and neuromodulation in addition to medical and surgical options for a variety of urologic conditions.
Dr. Byers has served as chair of Urology at Hoag Hospital Newport Beach and as president of the Orange County Urological Society. She is a member of several local and national medical societies. Dr. Byers founded the Southern California Continence Center to bring the newest available treatments for incontinence to the community in a smaller, more intimate office environment.
