Jitterbugs Ice Cream Cafe

This is a great place for a treat. The kids love this place, because who does not like ice-cream? The staff is exceptionally kind, and if you do go inside the atmosphere is nostalgic of the old "dip" or "soda jerk" stores. The best part though, is the side alley pull up window for ease of service. Also, join them around the Tree Lighting for some hot cocoa.

Everything we tried was great. The Chocolate Butterscotch Malt is a great combination, although I felt it could use a touch more malt and salt. Hit the spot on a hot day. Will likely be back

Beautiful set up for a convenient process! A large variety to choose from and same price as other competitors in the area. I ordered the sea salt caramel ice cream and it was heavenly, I enjoyed the chunks! I also tried the chocolate coffee ice cream and it was delectable. Would definitely come back again.

Good ice cream. Cute place. My only complaint was that they used plastic drip catchers on the cones. I got the cone so I would not create trash. Maybe there is a biodegradable version they could use instead?

Update: I tried this place again 8/13. I still like it. But they have not improved customer service. Kids still enjoy it. But my son asked me today why the lady was so rude. I’m now reducing from 4 to 3 stars. I hope they consider being more polite. Previous review: Good flavors. They messed up on one order and we notified them right away. They weren’t willing to correct it. Eventually, they did but it was unpleasant to ask them to fix it and make a big deal about it. Not a bad place just not great customer service.

We love Jitterbug's, maybe a little too much. The campfire smores is my favorite, but everything is great. Grab a scoop and head over to the pavilion to relax with all of its deliciousness.

A bit pricey, but cute ambience. Very retro, reminded me of a 1930s/40s ice cream parlor. Staff were very friendly.

Stopped by after dinner. Had the Smores and Sea Salt. Perfect dessert. Polite and Cheerful staff. Apologized for running out of some flavors - no biggy - I'll be heading back for the Maine Blueberry flavor soon. Thanks ladies!

Great ice cream! Great environment! Family friendly...the staff was very nice and the ice cream exceeded our expectations. I understand prices are going up all over but the owner is doing what she can to stay low. Not easy! Besides that, we actually stopped by because another place we were interested in was closed. It worked out! Diner style from the good ol' days. Highly recommend for anyone!
