My husband had 3rd degree burn on his neck ,chest ,face and arm and the service he received at the hospital was the sweetest l have ever experienced at a hospital. The nurses, the doctors they treated my husband with such care .very professional and caring,. excellent, thank you so much everyone!!
Never been to a better hospital in my life patient care was A-1 every where I was I had at the minimum 2 nurses with. I never felt so taking care of. The respect I got for someone with no insurance was unbelievable. They don't care about the money they care about you. They didn't keep my wife informed as she would have liked but they took well care of me. Would recommend very highly. Thanks JMS
My 2 year old walked thru ashes and her feet got burnt really bad. Dr.Hardy & our nurse Katelyn was hands down the most wholesome people I have ever met. The whole entire staff at the burn center was nothing short of amazing. We drove a little over two hours to bring our girl here & the staff went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible for her procedure the next morning. This hospital deserves more credit than they get.
We drove 95 minutes from Orangeburg to visit family member that had surgery. We stay up there until 6pm. We were lost to find the exit to leave the building. The staff was great.
TO PROVIDER BILLING MANAGEMENT TEAM: I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the customer service provided by your organization. During my recent attempt to seek communication regarding a bill, I have encountered several obstacles, which have left me feeling frustrated and disrespected. First, I would like to talk about the unprofessional behavior of your customer service agent. I found that she are unresponsive and evasive when I attempted to discuss the bill. she seemed disinterested in engaging in any productive conversation and appeared to be more interested in ending the call as soon as possible. Furthermore, I was appalled by the rudeness and lack of professionalism displayed by one of your agents. she hang up hung up the phone on me without offering any explanation or apology. Such behavior is unacceptable and does not reflect positively on your organization. I am writing this review in the hope that you will take action to address the problems I have highlighted. As a customer, I believe that it is important to feel valued and respected, especially during times of distress. You organization should provide the chance survey for the each customer call . even with record line , some agent still receive paycheck but not provide service the customer and rude to client . very disappointed !!
My father was in the hospital for 2 months. The patient care was great; however the communication was terrible. For instance, my father had surgery on two separate occasions and we were unaware until after the surgeries had occurred. I felt like I was lost on his overall care. After he was discharged, he had follow up appointments at the wound care center. The care is great, but the scheduling is ridiculous and incredibly inconsiderate. Wait times for twi visits that he has had so far has been 2 hours each time. We travel an hour and a half to get to the center and then have to wait 2 hours after the appointment time. I could have taken my dad for lunch and been back before he was called back if they would tell you the wait time after checking in. The waiting room is always so full of people. Based on other reviews that I read from over a year ago, no improvement has been made with their scheduling. It’s quite sad to see so many elderly patients and patients that are in wheelchairs and require the assistance of walkers and canes to be sitting for so long in a waiting room. Our time is valuable as well. Please do better.
Dr. Hardy was a fabulous doctor when dealing with my road rash & burns. All the nurses in the burn center were phenomenal. Best hospital I’ve ever been admitted to.
I’ve been very pleased until this morning when my son has surgery scheduled for 8am and the entire staff is very rude and constantly complaining about being short staffed and talking about drug addicts and addiction. My child has yet to be taken into surgery. I’ve asked question and was waived off or given a short answer. As a parent waiting for her child to have surgery and hear the doctors and nurses complain about being very short staffed is very disturbing. Staff gave my son ANESTHESIA HOURS AGO and he’s yet to be taken back for surgery. He’s heart rate is 38-40 the machine is beeping and no response!! WHY IS HE SEDATED AND NOT IN SURGERY!! Why is there no communication at all! Staff is very snobby and short! Being short staffed is not an excuse to treat patients poorly and be rude to family members. Totally unacceptable of medical staff! I’ve worked in hospitals since 2002 and would never treat someone like this. His injury is VERY VERY serious. From the beginning nothing has went as planned!! Now almost a month later we’re still having surgeries hoping things will get better!!!!!
Friend had appointed at 8, then said they didn't have it scheduled. I brought her 2 weeks ago and scheduled it for 8 am September 9th I immediately put on my calendar. We have been here over 2 hours for a recheck on wound. Still not seen , head nurse not sensitive just seems rude and doesn't care. This a 5 min to just check
Communication was bad as far as it being my first time in the hospital with my son. Timing of being there should have been told to me before the day of coming there for my son to be treated. I would have been more proactive in my schedule of picking up my other kids from school. I arrived there at 9:30 am and departed with my son at 6 pm. My son was there for 10 hours. Remind you that I was not aware that it would take them this long and my other child was in school and she a car rider. I did not have anyone that could of pick her up from school. So I proceeded to come back to the hospital quickly but the personal at the front desk on the burn side said that there is a policy of not allowing under age children in the hospital doing pickup of my son that was injured. So I had to take my daughter home and come back to get my son. When I got there, one of the nurse got attitude with me and accused me of child abandonment. I was really upset about what she said to me because I was in there all day with my son but I had to also pickup other child. I was really misled on the rules having children there, directions, and the timing of the procedure with my son. I am single mom and it is hard to balance out my responsibilities when things Like this happen when you don’t have other support. But overall they are good with kids when are being cared for.
