All of our grooming services are performed by NDGAA certified groomers who have gained extensive experience in the industry. They are trained in canine behavior and CPR and we have a registered veterinary technician on staff for your peace of mind.

We love this place! Everyone is so nice, professional, and knowledgeable. They take care of our two Giant Schnauzers and a Mini Schnauzer. Our dogs are such a mess every time we bring them in. Jo-Kar's team creates miracles every time, and when we pick up our babies, they look like show dogs!!!
My very large and excitable lab mix has been going to Jo Kar’s for over 5 years and has been groomed by April the last 2 years. They have always been professional, friendly and most importantly kind to my rambunctious man otherwise we would not be going there. It is close to my home and reasonably priced. I have had nothing but positive experiences with the staff here. Would highly recommend!
Heather is so compassionate with my gizzy. Have used her services since day one with my baby. That was nine years ago and still continue. She even has to give my dog breaks because she can’t stand as long as she used to but cares enough to do a very good job and keep the well being of the dog in mind. Would recommend to anyone. She does the lion cut on my dog and everybody thinks she is beautiful. She is.
Our giant schnauzer London has been coming here to April for almost two years. We absolutely love her she does a fantastic job every time and has the perfect toughness for our dog to cooperate. Highly recommend 5 stars every time !
They manhandled my dog, cut his nails past the quick and couldn't give me any assurance that it wouldn't happen again! I asked that they use a dremmel tool for his nails and they acted as if that would just be way too much out of their ability. Honestly, I was lucky to even speak to someone at all with how much they wanted off the phone. Like they just want to take an appointment and go... nevermind if you have anything beyond that, or questions. They cut his hair just fine but the treatment, the abrupt phone conversations and cold, unfeeling attitude toward my animal made me take my dog elsewhere.
Heather has been grooming our dogs for over 15 years. She has groomed our small, large, and larger dogs. We can not ask for a better groomer, and trust me, we have tried others. If you are looking for a professional and kind groomer, Jo-Kar is the place to go.
Took my aussiedoodle here, and 1 lady said 60.00 bucks for the haircut. ok, so I agreed and came back, and later they told me my dog threw up and the cost was 65.00 dollars. I hope this helps.
April is Awesome with Little Bear. She has the patience of a saint.
I took my senor poodle mix into get a groom. She has been to other grooms and they turn away for age and how bad her ears eats are for 5he groomer to clean. The groom was very good with her. My dog look wonderful was happy and her ears where clean for first time in a long time. My dog loves the groomer and is always happy to see her. As for her customers service she is honest and very friendly .
Had a morning appointment at 8am. No one was there and the place was shut down. Received a phone call at 8:17 that the groomer got stuck in traffic and rescheduled the appointment for a later date. Should have been the first red flag. When the appointment came around only the nine month old pups second full grooming the lady was condescending about ear cleaner and sarcastically explained that ear cleaner isn't expensive. which we had planned on asking about how to clean his ears better as this is a new breed to us. When he excitedly urinated when we picked him up she gave him an emphatic "bad dog" even though he is completely house broke and just got overly excited seeing as he was nervous as well. My wife jokingly said to the dog "oh my! I hope you weren't barking the whole time" she said "no... not the whole time." And my wife said "well I'm sure you're ready to go home" to the dog to which the groomer replied "yes. Please take him" I give two stars only becuase the cut looks very clean and well done. Obviously knows how to give a dog a good haircut but not how to give good customer service.
