JOANN Fabric and Craft Stores

This Metarie store is completely awesome! I've never seen so much fabric in my life! And most of it on sale, like 40% - 75% off sale. Even the clearance fabric and remnants were on sale! Plus the coupons I had. I'm in love!! I was in there for like 3 hours today, just checking it all out. And this is what I bought

Very clean and very nice. The problem was the staff. The lady working the cutting counter on 12/11 was very rude and you could tell she was in a very bad mood. The manger was also very aggressive. The entire team except the very nice lady that checked me out was unpleasant.

This location is much bigger and allows for relaxing shopping due to the space. However I did enjoy the previous location better because you didn’t have to search high and low for simple items. I spent 15 minutes roaming the store for sewing needles because there were only 3/4 workers and no one was available to assist. Not to mention it was busy as all outdoors! I believe that it would make much better sense to have needles/thread smaller items towards the front of the store. Restroom was clean. The store was a bit overwhelming honestly but I eventually found the needles..only because it was near the restroom lol.

Nice store. Friendly staff. Selection of fabrics seemed smaller than most locations.

The employee behind the fabric counter was extremely rude.she didn't offer to help, tried to get me out of the way as soon as I walked up.tried to ask a question, was snapped at as soon as I began to speak.she was a short heavy set Caucasian female. I and my son left without getting what we came for.i used to buy performance material all the time at the old location. I will not return to Veterans location again .terrible person.

I love going here for my crafting needs. The staff is always very friendly and efficient.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The displays look wonderful and supplies are plentiful.

Fantastic selection of yarn, fabric and other craft supplies. Paints and fine art aren't really their thing though so go elsewhere for that. I like that they seem to support various charity projects as well!

Great location. Very clean and organized. Decent selection of products.

Nice they have a wide variety of things, check outs are fast considering the size of the store
