This Store Looks Amazing! JoAnn's has a huge remodeling. Everything is so nicely organized, bright and beautiful. The green pop of color really stands out. My sister crochets so yes we came to get a specific type of yarn in a unique color. I ended up catching a sale on thread spools for my sewing bag at home. I had recently realized that I didn't have a few colors so I decided to get extra because of the sale. It was some kind of BOGO so the more I bought the more I got free. They had a lot of other cool stuff in the store but, because we were for a couple of specific items we didn't check out the entire store. I'll go back when I am feeling creative.
Best Joann in the Sac area! Newly renovated and has the yarn wall! Plus I think they may have more inventory than some of the other stores
Had a really hard day at work and came in at 8 pm to get some emergency fabrics for a project I'm working on. Spent about 10 minutes, grabbing a few fabrics before a clerk approached me and told me that they wouldn't be cutting any more fabric. I understand if it's 15-30 minutes before closing, but there was still an hour before closing. And this was the only time I could come after work. Walked out super dejected and empty handed. I do love Joann, but this was just a really disappointing experience.
Their new building location is amazing. It took my breath away and made me really excited seeing everything more organized, more availability of items, etc. The place was clean, worker was really kind and patient. The only thing that made me sad is I couldn't find many embroidery or cross stitching kits the way it was before. I think it's just been sold out and haven't been stocked in yet. I honestly love this store, it was amazing and I'd go there again anytime I'd need something from crafts, fabrics, and other items for hobbies and crafts. I think the yarn wall is amazing! I took only a few pictures, but maybe next time I'll take more pictures.
I was at this store on 7/31 for thread to match my pants. Nice new store but a rough location. Someone hit the security guard and I could hear security guard across the store yelling at someone. This scared my family that I had with me.
Due to other circumstances I got to this store later than anticipated. Today is the last day of a sale on fabrics I needed. I quickly selected fabrics for my project and when I heard the “store closing soon” announcement I took my selections to the cut counter where I was told “our cut counter is closed for the day.” Seriously….your store is still open but you can’t help a customer? The clerk that passed me while I was selecting fabrics never said they wouldn’t cut them. I work retail and would never be allowed to do this. Ridiculous….totally unacceptable
The store have cameras all over the place but they believe customers who exaggerate stories about what they saw the kids doing in the store. Check your cameras and make a good use of it! Oh, yeah because we are not white. You will still find racist people...and you will find them in this store.
Wow!! The Joann location nearest my previous residence caused me to overlook this location, and that was a mistake. I am very impressed with the fabric selection, the best I have seen in a chain store. This location is large, clean, and staffed with helpful people. I plan to return soon.
Nice place, awesome people, even BETTER DEALS!
The remodel is great so much easier to locate the it's you want.
