I went in to find some accent lace for a project. There are rows of fabric choices. I was able to find exactly what I needed after a few minutes of searching. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. There are many craft projects, as well as sewing materials. The parking lot is large and convenient. If you have a project to work on or try a new craft project - this is a great place to find materials and resources.
A really big store with lot to offer. You can find almost any fabric you’re looking for and can get your home made free let stuff from here at well. It’s definitely a must visit when you’re dealing with anything fabric related but this store has a lot more than your usual Joann Fabric store.
This was a clean location. I found some really great deals and they had a pretty large, clearance section too. The outside of the building is dated, but the inside looks like all the other Joann stores. The employees were friendly. The cut counter did have a small line, but it was quick! Nice experience!
The store is massive with lots and lots of arts and crafts to tackle most any project you can think of however the line to check out was 15 customers deep and only one cashier. Unfortunately, I needed the item I was purchasing otherwise I would have walked out. Another customer behind me stated "this is why people use Amazon". Yeah, corporate America at its best.
Joann Fabrics is a chain store for not only just fabrics, but lots of crafts, such as painting and modeling and mask-making the fun kind not the corona kind!‍ They also have a large assortment of toys and fun things like making your own dolls, building kits for candles and race cars and even a building kit for the 89’ bat mobile from Batman! Strolling through Joann fabrics might make you realize there’s a lot of hobbies that you’d like to be pursuing!! Like randomly I saw styrofoam pellets to be made into different colorful objects! I could see myself buying that and either using it right away or putting it in my closet and six months later finding it while having a garage sale! Either way it’s fun and the prices are pretty good! Come here if you have a lot of different hobbies and interests like I do, and make sure you don’t spend ALL that hard earned cash you made on projects that you may or may not pursue but it’s a fun place and I support it because I like having these types of stores open so I can come here and expand my horizons! Even if I don’t end up sewing together that cat mask for that late night party I wish someone would invite me to!!! Also they have public restrooms with no codes! And a water fountain that might be ok to drink from well see how my stomach feels tomorrow !:
DOUBLE TRIPLE CHECK YOUR ADDRESS BEFORE PLACING AN ORDER HERE!!!! My review is for their online store but they cannot cancel an order or update an address once an order has been placed even if its been three minutes since you placed the order. I really honestly feel foolish for even ordering from here since everything I have ever ordered has been really delayed, but it had the best deal on a serger. I don't understand how they can't change an address before they have even boxed the package other than it would just be annoying for them. The customer service people were nice but honestly the things they can do for you are basically nothing. Its mostly just having people there to tell you they can't help. I definitely won't order from Joanns again as it is my third negative experience and the first two had nothing to do with me making an error, just insane way after expected delivery times. Might have just wasted $300 because its nearly impossible for me to recover anything sent to my old address. Lots of other companies have been able to fix this issue before.
Long line, little to no customer service, overpriced items. If I were you just get any items from other stores that are similar to the one you are trying to get. If you are not able to, make sure to use coupons that take a percentage off your total purchase or just one item in order to save yourself some money.
JoAnns has alot of things and they're great it you are a sewist. They also have increased their Cricut items, I think they carry Cricut everything. I went on a Sun and there was only one check out woman. I was 3rd in line and before I reached the checkout there was 15 ppl in line and it wrapped around almost to the door. There was a help wanted sign on the door and they are definitely short staffed.
There were a lot of clearance shelves if your willing to dig. I normally love doing it but it was a lot. Many of the items I found weren’t on sale and I had no way to check pricing unless I hunted down an employee or downloaded the app. Hard to do without internet and while the store was busy.
The store and service rate higher than a 2, however the parking lot rates lower than a 1. It is like parking in a garbage can. Been this way for a long time. No excuse for not cleaning it up.
