Small store but they have a large variety of items and knowledgeable, friendly staff.
I was in line behind another guest and there was literally three people in store at the time. When customer in front of me asked the employee to cut material a certain way she lost it on this customer and raised her voice and stated we only do it when there isn't a line , remind you there was only her myself and one other person In the whole store. Then employee stated it's so busy its like black Friday??? What??? I felt so horribly embarrassed for the customer in front of me. Their customer service needs some serious work
Love JoAnn Fabric for their cleanliness and we'll maintained store. And also for there professional customer service and for there awesome Price's. Love when they they have there door buster sales alone with there fifty percent off coupons.
Staff was very helpful. Don't think they should have coupons for 50% off fabric that is regular priced when most all the fabric was in sale. Had one kind to choose from.
Good atmosphere; very clean and the working staff is both friendly and polite. The store can sometimes be swamped with customers while only two employees are usually on schedule, so waiting times at the counters vary day-to-day, which is understandable, so it's not for those who consider themselves impatient. Generally a nice place to shop at, especially if one lacks the time to travel to Davenport and/or Iowa City for an item that can be found in the Muscatine store. All in all, I would gladly shop here again.
I am so thankful to have this store in our town. I'm not a sewer, but I am a knitter, crocheter, and cross stitcher. For cross stitch, it has all the basics and has a full stock of the skein colors, but not much option as far Aida cloth goes. When I'm in a pinch, it's wonderful to have a store with a little bit of yarn selection, but if you are looking for natural fibers there is almost no selection they've got some cotton yarns, but not much more than 20-30% wool in the brands advertising as "wool". There is also a plentiful selection of needles and hooks. Any time I'm there the staff is pleasant and helpful!
Muscatine store closed today at 5 pm and never put it on web site so 20 miles round trip for nothing. Update the puplic that your store hours changed because of staffing.
Joann Fabric always feels like Christmas! The coupons always make my purchasing power go a little further and they generally have everything I need. Today I needed paper for paper beading and air drying clay to make ceramic type beads. I found it all easy enough. The staff is always knowledgeable and willing to go the xtra mile to help me find anything I might need or just answer a question...
I'd give 5 stars if corporate would care a little more about customer allergies due to seasonal items. Otherwise love all their craft supplies
Called to check and see if they had a silhouette cameo 3. The employee “checked” and said yes and that they would hold it for me. I drive 45 minutes to get it and “ oh we don’t have it it must have sold”. Asked if they would do the newer model for same price and they said no. Horrible customer service
