Now, this pool was purchased by my mom and is my mom's pool. I was there to pick up the pool. Kim and her staff were friendly and provided us with so much information. Kim told us everything we needed to know. She was straight forward and thorough. She went as far as showing us HOW to put our pump together and she was so straight up with us about EVERYTHING. In the end, she put our pump together for us! If you are going to claim to know everything or purchase parts or chemicals online don't come here! My experience here was educational and pleasant. She made our appointment for after the store closed but we were a private appointment and she went over everything for 3 hours and answered any and all of our questions. Will definitely be utilizing this facility going forward. If any of my friends or family asks where they should go to get their pools and equipment I will be recommending job-rite. Thanks guys!
If I were able to give a higher number of stars, I wouldn't hesitate. I am a novice inground pool owner in 2022, and had a lot to learn about chemicals needed and the upkeep it would take to keep my pool water clear and clean. I am fairly new to the area, so I didn't know of Job-Rite, and therfore visited the only local pool store I was aware of. This organization, just a few short miles from Job-Rite and rhyming with White House, was purely transactional in nature. There was high interest in selling chemicals, but little interest demonstrated in developing an ongoing business relationship. Whenver I showed up asking for expert advice, they'd sell me a number of items, and didn't explain the reasons for each. When asked if everything they sold me would work, the answer of "Let's hope so" didn't leave me with a great deal of confidence. I suppose due to their size, they feel this is "customer service." After one very difficult day and 3 trips to their store with no resolution, just sullen attitudes, I said that's it. An employee in their store did me the best favor ever...told me to go to Job-Rite. I went there immediately, and found my forever pool supplier/educator relationship. Kim and her staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Kim took her time to educate me, and ensured I had everything I needed to correct the issues I was having with cloudy water, algae, etc. Not only did they test my water and provide all the paperwork to educate me, when Kim noted my confusion and hesitancy, she took the time to number each step, and each product container so I wouldn't get home and be further frustrated. Before I left that first day, she reviewed it with me multiple times and even provided me with a phone number to call for after hours! Who does that???? She also asked that when I return, to please provide pictures of all equipment heater, chlorinator, pump, etc so they would know as much about my system and setup as possible to ensure 100% best advice. I visited the store for weekly water testing, receiving more excellent advice and education. Based on Kim and staff's thorough knowledge, patience and professionalism, my pool has since been remarkable...crystal clear water, chemicals testing at appropriate levels, etc. I am confident I would NEVER have received this much time, customer service, and knowledge from their alleged "competitor" a couple of miles down the road. I can say with certainty their competitor's employees are the best salespeople for Job-Rite. I am forever grateful to Kim and her team, and will go nowhere else for my pool needs! I have a neighbor who recently put in an above ground pool and highly recommended they go to Job-Rite for their pool needs when they initially indicated they would go to the large box store. Why spend so much money on your pool/spa/hot tub, etc. and then go to the larger company who apparently cares only about the immediate transaction, versus Job-Rite who understands positive interactions, long-term business relationships and customer service after being in business for over 60 years. You will have a much better experience. Additionally, your family and your pool/spa will be well protected!
I purchased my hot tub from Kim about 10 years ago. I’ve continued to buy my chemicals there as they are always helpful with a water test when needed. Prices are reasonable and products are always in stock. They are always busy, but attentive to your needs. Many repeat customers come in for their expert advice. The staff spends time with each customer as needed to answer questions for their specific need. I’ve never felt that they were too busy for me. I recently had a pretty major issue with my hot tub that was fixed by the end of the day. On a Saturday!! When I explained the issue, Matt jumped to action. He was very thorough explaining what I needed to know to prevent the problem from getting worse and then followed through with a plan. The very nice service man, Abe, came over as promised a few hours later. This all started around 2pm and Abe had things back in order by 6:00. Amazing service!! It may have been lucky timing BUT, they didn’t have to go this far above and beyond. They are a professional, kind, and courteous local business with proven customer loyalty. I’m happy to support this local family owned business in Green.
DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS!! Go to Classic Pools, LiteHouse Pools, Ohio Pools, anywhere else but here! We have a pool and a hot tub. Kim was very helpful with our hot tub over the last few years, testing water, making suggestions, and selling us the right products. We are "do-it-yourselfers". The company who installed our pool has always gave us info on what was needed and when and we have taken care of everything since then. We started having our pool water tested at Job Rite over the last year due to location, but today, that WILL STOP. Kim yelled at us in front of multiple customers in the store, wanting to know if we are part of her pool programadditional treatment for the water, which has never been needed/mentioned in the last 5 years until today. When my husband asked what the pool program was, she stated "read the policy, I have VIP's in the store, I don't have time to explain it to you". Really?? VIP's?? Kim's supposed VIP's arrived after us, asking about purchasing a hot tub, and a few others were waiting for pool water checks as well. I guess selling a hot tub is more important than selling us a bag of pool salt, algaecide, and a few other odds and ends. I pray those VIP's take their business elsewhere. Kim told us to go back to Classic Pools with our business. Don't worry Kim, you lost ours and many other's business with the way this customer was treated today! I hope your employees are not treated the way we were treated today!! We have lived in this community for many years. We will make sure to recommend Classic Pools, or anyone else!!!!!
I've been a pool owner for 15 years and this year is the 1st time I've had a problem with my opening water. Kim and Matt were so helpful as I thought I had a problem with my lines since I wasn't getting any suction. They recommended the filter cleaner and put on a maintenance and already seeing a difference. Thank you for all your knowledge and will be our new pool home.
They were so incredibly helpful in assisting me find exactly what I needed to fix my pool water situation! They put you in the system so they know for the future what type of pool you have and what you may need when you come back. When the price was a little high, she went through and helped me find cheaper options! I walked away very happy. They also sent me with a little container to bring a sample of my water in case everything I got did not fix the problem! I will definitely be going back again!
A year out from a spa purchase from Job Rite and I still feel that they deserve a 5/5 rating without question. From the initial shopping experience with the owner and her sales staff it has been a pleasure from a customer service perspective. They helped me pick the right spa, came to my house to personally talk about the best placement, and every aspect of the installation. They referred me to a local electrician who did excellent work quickly, and who I later used for a different job which also went well. Pricing was exactly what I expected it to be. After the installation they came to the house to personally go thru use and maintenance. Over the past year I have made repeated trips to the store for the included monthly water tests in the lab. I also go back for advice and chemicals. The chemical costs have been better than the price on Amazon the last time I checked. They have never hassled me or given me attitude any time I have been in the physical store. Their service is commendable. The product has had no issues - Marquis spa. The owner has several younger employees who work there, and each has been friendly and knowledgeable. The first time I walked in I was given personal attention for about forty five minutes during which I bombarded him with question that he knew answers to immediately. I recommend this store without hesitation, and it is no wonder why they have been a successful small local business for decades website states since 1959.
I just had an amazing experience! I was having hot tub issues and I reached out to see if I could get some advice on how to fix it. The staff at job rite were amazing by helping me diagnosing the problem and giving me a plan of action to fix it myself. They sold me the part, gave me great advice, and took my follow up call when I had question. They went well beyond the call of duty and we are now enjoying our hot tub again. Thanks Job Rite for your assistance and for providing many years of outstanding advice to this greatful customer!
Update, I Purchased this spa 4 years ago from Job Rite pools and spa. I recently had a leak in the spa and called Kim. She had one of her field technicians Abe at the house the very next day to see what was wrong. They discovered the frog housing had cracked and ordered a replacement and had it installed within a few days. This Spa is back in service with no leaks. Everything was covered under the manufactures warranty.Kudos to Kim and her staff for excellent service !! I recently purchased a Caldera Cantabria Spa from Job Rite Pools & Spa. I researched several major Brands & Models. I also wet tested them at several stores, I highly recommend anyone planning to purchase a spa to wet test them to help make your selection. Kim was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful in showing me the different features of each model. I had my delivered on an elevated deck and Kim explained that she has delivered many Tubs with a Crane. Kenny, the service manager was there to make sure everything was done correct. This is my first hot tub. Kenny is excellent and very patient and will walk you through all the steps of operating & maintaining a hot tub.They did a great job getting it set in the right location. They had the Tub connected and filled in less than 2 hours. They also offer water testing for Free for the life of the Spa. Each time I have brought in a sample, they explain the results and what I need to do to get the water chemistry corrected. Job-Rite Pool & Spas is an excellent business, It's a family business that is over 50 years old & you always get to deal with the same person. Not like the big box dealers that have lots of staff turnover. I highly recommend Job-Rite Pool & Spas. John
Changing from a 5 star to a 1 star. Original gave 5 stars because I thought the sales staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Two- three months later it's changed. After meeting with a sales rep, discussing what I am looking for, doing a wet test, I do not have a hot tub on the way. When I went in to test the 2 hot tubs I decided I liked, I was ready to put down my deposit. The sales rep told me to think it over and he'd give me a call in a couple of days for my payment. The hot tub I wanted was already scheduled to be on the truck coming in January 2021; I was told there were several. After not getting a call from them, I called in to put down my deposit and was told all the hot tubs on the January truck were accounted for. The last one was being held for a floor model. After some discussion and letting him know how disappointed I was, he spoke to the manager. He called me back to let me know I could get a hot tub I may 2021 or go with a different model which I didn't want. I'd been working with them since the stores reopened from Covid-19 & feel like I've been strung along. I'm going elsewhere for my hot tub. I chose Job-Rite because they carry the Marquis brand, but I'm not willing to wait another 6-8 months with a company I can't trust.
