Highly recommended! The best children orthopedic center in our area. I know it, because first we visited other medical center and they were horrible just a total waste of time and money. But Joe DiMaggio center in Miramar is the place where the real professionals are working. Every single person here is friendly and experienced. Including front-desk workers, nurses and doctors. The girl who put a cast on my son's arm did an amazing work - fast and perfect again I know what I'm talking about since we visited another orthopedic center beforehand. The customer service is very good, Doctor Stephen Storer - the kindest person, easily communicates with kids knows how to encourage them and support. He is really a great man and a decent professional. Overall - amazing, friendly and affordable hospital.
So I called this Hospital about an appointment the Joe DiMaggio children hospital in my location coral springs had set up for my child to have a wrist ultrasound, I called inquiring about the appointment and stuff a lady answer the phone and she ask for the patient name and everything and why I was calling so i told her my child doctor sent me here for my child to have an ultrasound the lady said “we don’t do that here” then put me on hold then she hung up causing me to miss the appointment and my child to miss school which was very unprofessional. I will never go to this location ever again
I brought my daughter with fever and ear pain and the staff are just great. MILLIE RN, DR DAVID and the team were very helpful. They explained everything and they had a great customer servirce. 100% recommended
This place is amazing! From the security staff when you check in, to the nurses and doctors, everyone is just absolutely amazing. Visiting this place sucks, just because having a sick child is unarguably the worst experience ever, but everyone is so professional and makes you feel at ease. Dr. Jones explained everything thoroughly and took his time addressing our concerns. I hope you don’t have to ever visit the ER with your child, but if you do, you’re in good hands at this place!
My daughter has been in NICU for the past 6 days, the service has been really good but today at 9:06 PM, we saw her from the camera crying, I directly talked with the nurse in charge, very calmed and politely requested her assistance since my daughter has been crying for over 15 minutes, but she responded rudely asking me "what do you suggest me to do?, I am assisting other patients, do you want me to drop them an run to your daughter?", my daughter ended up crying for over one and a half hour until my wife got to the hospital in an Uber and found the baby still crying with the diaper full of poo, her boot rashed and bleeding. We have spent in the hospital a week and the service is really good, I was very satisfied with everything until now, I hope someone takes action to prevent nurses like this one ruins the patient's experience and great labor the rest of the staff does. I have documented what happened and if necessary will escalate my complaint. NICU room F15, incident happened 02/13/19
This place has been a God Send!! They have been very very attentive with My Family!! The Neuroscience center in Miramar was very understanding and Zulema Arbide is an Excellent! Their staff is Exceptional in their in right! They weren't just giving out pills they were big fans of Long Term Care!! Zulema was very honest and relatable for our family!
I took my son to the pediatric Emergency Department at the Miramar location for a facial infection. We got EXCEPTIONAL service from security, the front desk staff, triage, and physicians at every step. We packed snacks, drinks, and entertainment - thinking we’d be in for a LONG night in the ER - but we were in and out in 16 minutes!!!! Our case was straight forward, but the speed with which our visit was complete was entirely related to the well-defined, streamlined processes in place, staff expertise, and organization. Often, service can be fast OR thorough.... in this case it was both, PLUS compassion, care, smiles, stickers, and popsicles. I could not be more impressed!
This is such a great place to have near to Spring Valley and neighboring communities. If your child is ill and you need to be seen in an emergency, this hospital has a Pediatric ER. They are kind, and efficient with the lil ones. If there is an event that needs hospitalization, note that they will need to transfer you to the Joe DiMaggio Hospital, since this only functions as a local ER for the kids.
This hospital employs doctors who have appalling malpractice charges against them and who have defied the Hippocratic oath. They are more concerned with earning money than earning the trust of their patients and in keeping their patients safe from harm.
This unethical hospital has agreed to let a doctor circumcise a four-year-old boy on its premises, despite the fact that the mother of the boy was coerced into signing the consent form, under threat of indefinite imprisonment. It is circumcision justice in the United States by a kangaroo court.
