The park is very well kept. Very nice playground areas. Grass well maintained. Facilities are clean. Playground: Well maintained. Nothing broken or busted. Restrooms: Nicely kept clean Dog-friendliness: I did see one dog. No dog park area.
- 3 adult softball fields in fairly good condition - 1 kid playground structure ideal for 10-15 elementary age students - Parking can get a bit tight
Used to be a nice park it needs some upkeeping
They keep the gates locked so people can't drive into this public park. Shame the workers don't want to do their jobs in keeping it clean daily. Shame the homeless has to resort in finding places like this park to sleep in. Different and mixed feelings about this park. In a better note, this oak is great for a walk around to exercise in. Think that it could be better if both parties workers & homeless people could come to an agreement and make something work for all of us
Rented out the shelter at Joe Herb park. When we got there, it was taken over by homeless who have camped out there. Wish parks and recreation would of told us about this issue before allowing us to rent it out. There was trash everywhere. We found pills on the floor and a needle in the playground. A homeless man found his way into the women's bathroom. I did not feel safe to allow my kids to run around that park. It's gotten really bad there.
Passing through July 4. Unfortunately the reviewer who mentioned the garbage and the displaced people did so accurately. The individuals we met were friendly but we were uncertain about what is on the grass and ground, given the amount of garbage, and therefore it didn't feel safe for kids.
Went to a ballgame parking was hard to find ,had to park far away from ball field, poor lighting to reach the car.
Pretty nice, quiet, and clean. Great entertainment on grounds. Spacious and great play for enjoyment area for kids and family. Even possible for family events.
Clean area by the ballfields.usually locked Outside of that there are multiple homeless people camped out. Dirty and pretty unsafe on the playground side
The park is beautiful. Has nice softball fields on it and a lot of shade. And the grocery store and mountain Mike pizza is nearby. A great place for softball tournament
