This is a nice park. There is a full basketball court and big green areas to throw a football or kick a ball. The playsets for this kids are really cool. There is also a large gazebo with picnic tables.
Nice place to bring children to get them out in the different areas to see what is going on. And to view some of the local history and to get them away from the games and tv they are on most of the day. Gets them outside in fresh air.
It is nice since its been redone better area for children to play
Watched to solar eclipse of 2017 here. It was amazing and the people were friendly and welcoming.
It not set up as a thriving park but this is one of the original parks of Hopkinsville and named after Joesph Mumford.
