Welcome to the John Day River Trading Post in Kimberly, Oregon. We are located on the John Day River and hope to be serving our community and passers by.
The John Day River Trading Post is now in business!! After a long summer and lots of hard work and determination the doors are open! We are a constant work in progress and have high hopes for our new adventure. Owned and operated by the Cole family, we are proud to say that we have 3 generations of family born and raised in Grant County. Our plans for the future are to be a haven for fisherman, hunters, outdoorsmen, bicyclist, motorcyclist, adventurists, and most importantly our community!
We are starting small, a convenience stop while you are on your travels, but we are hoping to add fuel, rv/camping spots, antler buying, hunting and fishing license and tage, feed and hardware, river equipment rentals, and just a little bit of everything that makes this part of the country so enjoyable. We would like to go back to the day where business was done honestly and with integrity. Please stop by when you're in the area!
