Awsome service!!! And delicious pizza I would definetly say this is the best pizza in town hands down!!!!
I have celebrated many occasions here including birthdays, family reunions, dates, and family dinners. Great food, inexpensive buffets, and fun atmosphere. I even got to place a special dollar on the ceiling! Love this place!
Great pizza, friendly staff. Our family had pizza here numerous times over the past few months and it has always been delicious. The staff remembered our kids and made an extra effort to make the visit fun. We ordered delivery for the first time tonight and it was right on the expected time frame and fresh out of the oven. I don't think any other delivery pizza comes close.
The service was very good, but the pizza just average. The "pizza fries " were simply cheese bread. "Pizza to die for" is an extravagant stretch. Also, it was about 65 degrees inside, so that detracted from the comfort level. I'd like to see more unique and bold flavors, but it seems they've joined the ranks of appealing to the masses.
The service was good waitresses were right on time comma however the food wasn't as well as I thought it was going to be. It's actually equivalent to just any other pizza restaurant although it has specialty salads things of that nature. The salad I had was not very good at all it was a chicken salad on lettuce. Everybody else at the table seem to like their food.
A pizza buffet, but classier and cool, with a friendly staff. The pizza is above average, and the salads are good, though a little basic. The beer selection is modest, but has enough variety to give you a few interesting choices.
Pizza buffet very good depending on what time you go or what the lunch rush is. Some times pizza sits under the warmer too long and sometimes you get a fresh slice, it all depends. Not a whole lot of options to choose from I still enjoy having lunch here on occasuon
This was a great accidental find! We were out with our boys, our original plans fell through. We drove by and did a u-turn. Great customer service. Yummy pizza. We found our new home for pizza!
I was very pleasantly surprised with John Dough's. This restaurant originated in Melrose, but then expanded to Sauk Rapids. There were several things I liked. First, the pizza is delicious and has great taste. It reminds me of Carbone's-style, with a thin, floured crust, but not as crisp. There's plenty of cheese and tasteful ingredients. I really enjoyed the flavor. I hit John Dough's during their lunch buffet, so was able to try several of their pizzas pepperoni, ham and pineapple, sausage, cheese and wasn't disappointed. The decor is a lot of fun as well. The ceiling looks to be reclaimed red barn wood with dollars that patrons have written on and tacked to the ceiling. It reminded me of a popular deep dish pizza place in Chicago where I once ate, where patrons had written graffiti all over the walls. In addition to the barn wood, there's old doors, corrugated tin, industrial light fixtures. It gives what could be a dull place some rustic charm. When I ate here, there were a lot of other patrons for a weekday. A sign that people enjoy the food. This is a former Pizza Hut, so it's good to see the building being still used for pizza. The daily buffet features a variety of pizza, soup, salad, and their pizza fries - a breadstick with Italian spices, butter, and cheese that are perfect for dipping into the restaurant's tasty red sauce. This restaurant does serve beer. Pizza is always better with beer. This restaurant would be great for a night out with friends, your spouse, or your family. I'll definitely return.
The absolute BEST pizza in town. I grew up in Chicago, and I know pizza. John Dough's pizza is about as close as you can get to original thin crust classic Chicago pizza. Forget that deep dish stuff -- this is the finest pizza you'll ever get.
