Hi! My name is JB. I accidentally started a cookie business after selling decorated cookies to raise money for a missions trip. People loved them so much they kept coming back for more, and now I create custom cookies.
I chose the name John Henry's Sweets after my Pops who was a big fan of sweets. Though ice cream was always his favorite, I'm sure he'd love my delicious sugar cookies too!
The mission behind John Henry's Sweets is the same as when I started—to support missions. I'm blessed to have gone on several missions trips (thus far to Singapore, Malaysia, and Hawaii), and I'm looking forward to more trips in the future. I work with kids and youth and train them in Christian leadership. It's truly my heartbeat and I'm grateful that the Lord has blessed me with the opportunities to travel the world doing what I love and bringing Him glory!
I'm not a full-time cookier—I work an 8 to 5 job that I love—so my evenings and weekends consist of baking and decorating. Because of this, I can only take a limited amount of orders, so make sure you book early to reserve your date!

PRICING
Custom Dozens
Basic set: 1-3 colors, 3-5 shapes, basic designs - starting at $36 (starting at $40 with metallics or glitter)
Detailed set: 4-6 colors, 4-6 shapes - starting at $42 (starting at $46 with metallics or glitter)
One design
A one design set is just that--one shape, one design, and every cookie is the same. Great for party or wedding favors! This is also a great way to supplement your cookie order. If you need 18 cookies, you can order one dozen custom cookies and add on 6 “one design” cookies. One design cookies start at $2.50 per cookie. (If not ordering as an addition to custom cookies, there is a 1 dozen minimum.)
Minis
Custom minis start at $10 per dozen. If ordering only minis, there is a 3 dozen minimum requirement. Minis are a great addition to a custom dozen!
Packaging
All orders from John Henry’s Sweets come in a bakery box so they are ready to be set out and arranged for your event! If you are using them as favors, heat-sealing is a great option. Heat-sealing is $4 per dozen. Heat-sealed cookies stay fresh for at least 2 weeks!
